JC 2010 Pool Guide???

Has anyone heard when JC will post the new 2010 pool guide?

No word yet because there might be only 2 new major pools that opened up. But Liquid definitely deserves some props. I will write a Yelp review about it sometime this week. EBC is another spot, but I was not able to make that one. I will review it on my next trip.

What do you know about the Venetians pool and Tao Beach? Thats where i will be Aug 25-29. I was also thinking of going to the Palms on friday for Ditch fridays. I kept my key from last year and if i get there around 9am when the pool 1st opens, i should have no prob getting in w/ the old room key

I was just at Tao Beach and it was definitely good times This past sunday they had Paul Van Dyk performing. Its not as big as the other pools, but the drinks get made the strongest out of any pool party. Then you got a small pool with a bunch ladies and if you are a decent looking guy squeezed in between the middle, you are bound to have a great time.


The room key trick worked for us earlier this year. I dont know if the keys change from year to year though.

I dont know if they change either. But the pool at the palms open at 9am, when i got there early last year they just take a quick look and let me go in. I figure only guests would only be there at 9am. Hope for the best, if not, move on!

I would like to see the new pool guide as well... new EBC/Surrender, new City Centre Pools (Liquid), new Beach Club/Skybar at HRH... how do they all stack up?

I actually saw the Skybar from my patio at HRH. It was dead and people were taking naps, while the party at HRH was taking off.

haha I will be the first one watching it.Is tao beach open on thursdays?I arrive the 30th of august so the 3rd of sep will be the thursday. I think ditch will have to be attended on the 4th but i could sacrifice it for tao i reckon. too many choices.the saturday & sunday i imagine will be stupidly busy so i am keen for hitting a pool party during the week aswell, cant be arsed waiting in lines tho.wet will have to figure in the equation aswell.

I think Liquid put itself on the map on thursdays with their $ 5 patron shots and $2 coronas
