Imperial Palace rooms look pretty rough

I doubt anyone booking with Imperial Palace is really expecting anything nice. It gets the job done for the location and price. There's no masking that.
I personally never stayed there, but from what people say, it is what it is.

I stayed there in March.

Expect a small...maybe 20 inch tv, two beds, a shower, and a balcony.

It's just like a standard motel, yo.

The balcony is cool though for throwing shit off of when you're drunk.

Aside from that it's a great price for the location. I def wouldn't take a girl there for a trip though. It's perfect for going solo or with the guys.

The only real complaint is that the smell of smoke is pretty brutal. My throat started hurting within the first couple of hours.

Oh and don't set off the fire alarm and get locked out of the hotel like me.

Just stayed there for 6 nights (for the first time)... I was very surprised at how clean the place was and how little it smelled of smoke. I was expecting the worst stay ever. Even the casino did not smell, compared to Excaliber the casino was not smelly at all and seemed pretty damn clean as well. I was in a non smoking room and was overlooking the pool. Except for the bass every day at noon out at the pool party there were no other complaints from me. Don't expect a fancy Wynn like room it is bare bones and the price cannot be beat for center strip!!!! Just my 2 cents!

I would not stay there. I have never even been in the casino. You can get rooms at NYNY for $35-55 a night.

I should clarify that the only reason i stayed there was cause my partner in crime is unemployed at the moment and the money saved was put to good use on cabana's and table service. Our other party members where allready staying at Encore so we were spending most of our time at that resort anyways. We also needed something close to the Encore that was cheap cab wise so NYNY would not meet our needs. For the price it was just fine and you can use the money saved and the location for more fun. However definately not somewhere that I would take the wife! It is a great cheap crash pad if you know what I mean. That is all we needed and it surprised me at how clean and pleasant my stay was I was not looking forward to it but it was not bad at all. To each there own.
