  • Where? For 5 aussies...

    Hi there.

Basically after some reccomendations on Hotels for our stay in late august this year.

There are 5 aussie guys all recently turned 30,and we are over there for a good time. It's pretty much our last boys trip before we all sail off into the sunset and 'grow up' once and for all.
So wondering, where would be our best hotel to stay at on the strip?

Preferences? Good value, great atmosphere, basically a Hotel that will give us a good mix between partying and gambling?

A couple of the boys are set on Treasure Island for some reason...think it has something to do with drinking near Pirates?? I've been reading some reviews and they are mixed. Is this a good choice,or can we do better?

    Thanks for your help

Don't do TI. I'd recommend staying off the strip and doing Hard Rock. Not the nicest hotel but definitely with the most part atmosphere.

I would say Caesar's Palace is a very well-rounded hotel in terms of gambling and party atmosphere. MGM is pretty good too considering Wet Republic.

I liked Caesars, but that was my first time in Vegas so it could have been the fact that anything could have amazed me. Caesars was def cool tho, my room was nice (unlike some member's experiences) and the casino wasn't too bad.

              Thanks for the reply's.

Truth be told we still haven't booked anything with less than 5 weeks to go....

              It's MGM or TI...

Personally I don't like TI that much. I've never stayed there, but I've walked through many times. The hotel and casino felt cluttered and the vibe wasn't that great.
I'm not too crazy about MGM either but they have some really good promotions sometimes. It also has a pretty decent casino floor.

I would go with MGM. I know I'm staying there in early august taking advantage of the promotions.

oh, and you should book now, if you find a better promotion later on, you can always cancel within 48 hours of your stay and get a full refund.
