The best Vegas trip I ever had.

I have been to Vegas many times, but this trip I took in Aug 2009 was the best Vegas trip ever.

I don't think I ever posted a TR for it.

Other than one minor hiccup at "The Bank at Bellagio" everything was great.

I scored round trip tickets from Cali to Vegas for 29ea way $81 round trip with tax included and everyone went home with money in their pockets. I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Too bad about The Bank (managed by LG) but glad to hear that it was made up at Jet (also managed by LG, strange).

Yea learned my lesson. Funny thing though is prior to this trip we would only party the night we arrive and gamble and recover our second night. Cause we had such a bad night our first night we went out on the second night to make up for it. Since then I have been partying both nights of our trip.

WoW... I wish we could get these $29 flights from Toronto to Vegas.... Closest US airport is Buffalo and it's still in the $300-$500 range for flights all in.

I've never seen the skylofts for under $1300 per night. My buddy now hosts at the Bank and haven't been there yet but been meaning to. Did you end up going and how was it?

That strait up sucks dude. We had that happen to us one time at Tabu. We just went through 3 bottles and ordered a 4th. It was getting late so half of our group left to get a table at Drai's for the next stop (and we were going to meet them after we killed the last bottle). After my buddy closed out the tab (because it was on his card and he was opening up at Drai's), the waitress came over and took (yes took) our 4th half full bottle from us as we were still sitting there. We said WTF and she told us that the card holder left so the bottles were done...again WTF? She actually made us open another tab just to order a few more drinks. Complete BS...

Anyway, sorry that you had such a shitty experience at The Bank. Never been there but since my buddy hosts, I might try it. Since you got 2 for 1 bottles, did they charge you $1600 for just the first 2 bottles? I guess with a few Redbulls and shots added in, that makes sense....

Actually the bank is super expensive. I have not seen any other club charge so much for henny. If I remember correctly it was 625 for henny vs without tip.1600 was the price for two bottles.ridiculous

The Skyloft comes in 3 rooms types.

1 bedroom-1,500 sqft- 1 king
2 bedroom-3,000 sqft- 2 queens, 1 king
3 bedroom-6,000 sqft- 4 queens, 1 king

The one that we stayed in was the two bedroom. Which has 2 queen beds and a king bed. We had 8 people that trip and that was not a problem. comfortably I would say you can do 13.

2 queen beds= 4 people
1 king bed= 2 people (will fit 3 but.....talk about awkward)
3 sectional sofas=6 people
1 therpy chair (in master bedroom)=1 person

11 comfortable people sleeping, but really now is everyone going to be sleeping at the same time?

I think at most we have done 14 if i remember correctly, it worked out somehow.

That picture brings a smile to my face every time. That's my older brother and in that pic he seems like the happiest kid in the world..and the camel is pretty cool if I don't say so myself.

I think it was 2,500 for both nights give or take. I forget. split that between friends and it's cheap and worth it.

terrific TR. Actually got me reading your other vegas tr's on your blog and am still laughing about your buddy pissing on the ironing board.

quick question about the skylofts. I know they have a separate entrance and I would assume they check room keys when people go up to the lofts. Did you ever have any trouble with security because you had so many people staying in the room? I know a lot of places charge extra for each person beyond the recommended limit. Were you able to get room keys for each person or did you all stay together pretty well?
