Looking for good electronic music club...

I can't deal with trance though...

I need house or minimal, any suggestions?

All I care about is the music.... size of club/how many girls are there won't matter, I'll have girls with me...

Just need to know of a venue that plays real electronic, as little commercial electronic/rmb/top 40 as possible.

Also, club doesn't have to be on the strip or in a hotel, I'd be willing to venture out..

I'm staying at Venetian, July 7th-12th, looking for something fun on the Friday or Saturday night.

Any info will be much appreciated.

I went to Vanity on a Thursday and the music was awesome. It's called Godskitchen.

I know OP is asking for Friday-Saturday, but I think most of the clubs play hip hop/top 40 those days.

Blush @ Wynn does house on Wednesdays.

I think Rain is mostly trance...

If you like Chicago house then check out Ghostbar @ Palms they usually have events on Thursdays...one of my buddies usually DJs those events. Just checked there's an event July 1st, it's called Soundbar.

This has been a great help so far, I guess I'll have to make Thursday my electronic music party night.

I been looking at Rain, the Dj they have there on the night of July 11th is junk.... I would watch Oakenfold for old times sake (last time I seen him was back in 02-03).. but he's not there that night.

To the poster who has a dj friend, ask him about where to go for some house/minimal, like I said, I don't care if it's a spot with 300-500 people.....

I can't believe Las Vegas doesn't have a spot where 1,000-3,000 people could get down to some house, how the hell does Trance have a stranglehold on "Rain"....???

Anyway, please feel free to post events in this thread until July 11th....

I found a vid of him on youtube spinning some Booka Shade, so I guess he can't be too bad...

Okay, I thought about it some more and came up w/ a few more places. The house scene in Vegas is kinda weird/small so a lot of the events I've gone to are one time deals I find out about the week they are happening.

Some weekly ones are:

This is the same sort of problem i'm having bud.... here in Australia pretty much 90% of club's is house/electro, they play hardly any top 40 chart songs and there are shit all hip-hop/rnb clubs.... which I guess is gonna make my trip all the more different.....and our girls sure don't go shaking around like the U.S girls do, which I won't be complaining about!

Yeah I'm seeing Van Dyk at tao beach on july 4th ......and yeah i might hit up godskitchen too, it's looking like a very good option!!....I'm in Vegas from the 3rd - the 11th, PM me closer to to the trip if you want and we might get a chance to hang out and go nuts!
It's only me and another mate, so we're def's keen to party with as many other people as possible.

I agree Royale, I'm never in Vegas for more than a 3-4 day shot.....

Hhahha yeah like I've stated before it is quite a long trip (Although i've read on the forums another aussie is doing 10-11 days in vegas!! And you think I'm nucking futs!!), however being an international traveler i feel there's gonna be enough shit to do and enough variation, just as long as my liver hold's together lol... we're keen to experience pretty much everything on offer, I personally am one for a good dive bar just as much as a club.

Also us Australians are quite seasoned drinkers for long periods of time lol (our legal drinking age is 18, so we start young) , we have things like schoolies week,footy trips etc from quite a young age.... although I'm sure i'll need at least one day of rest to maintain some possibility of making it out alive lol.

Also 3 days until we leave for the states!! So not long until i'll be ripping it up with you guys!
