Vanity Table Service - What do you get? Details?

Heading out with 7 friends for a bachelor party in mid July.

We plan on getting 2-3 bottles and a table. I've heard from someone that you get your own personal security guard...can that possibly be right? (Please excuse me if I'm wrong, I found it surprising but since I've never been here I figured I'd ask). I was also told that whoever is working your table will go and bring girls back if you ask them to (another thing I was skeptical about).

Basically...aside from sitting...what is the benefit of getting a table? I'm assuming you can give $75 of grease per guy...so what is the benefit of spending $1000 for two bottles (not including tip, etc.) vs. simply getting to the front of the line for around $600?

Granted, I've only been to Vanity for probably an hour total, but here's what I know.

Not sure if they have security guards there, I wasn't necessarily looking for them, but I'm sure they do. All the other big clubs do. You tip them (I'd guess $10/head, but search around on here for better tipping suggestions) and they'll watch your table if you go dance, bring girls back, etc.

That being said, this hypothetical $600 of yours only gets you in the door. Well drinks are $14 at Vanity. For 7 guys, that's $98/round not including tip. I suppose if you're only having 4 rounds, you'd be spending the same $$. This doesn't account for any drinks you purchase for the lady friends you may meet.

The table offers somewhere to sit, mingle, and I'm guessing you'll end up with more drinks than just 4 rounds.

Keep in mind, that $1000/two bottles probably doesn't include the tip for the waitress, tip for the host, tax, or anything like that.

Not sure if you get your own "personal" guard but there are security guards around the table areas to keep other people out.

I was also told that whoever is working your table will go and bring girls back if you ask them to.
This is probably a big reason why guys get bottle service--the girls that want free drinks will flock to you, lol.

Girls will come to you if you have a table, don't ask a host to get them cuz they will "charge" you for them... when I worked at prive I got anywhere from $10-25 a girl I brought back to the table. Also more girls means more alcohol that you should buy them and their friends if you want them to stay.

As far as security guards go... if you buy the main dance floor tables you get your own if your not on the dance floor its usually 1 for every 2-4 tables depending on the section

Definitely get 2-3 bottles... as the one poster said, you're going to be paying $125.00 for a round of drinks.... so lets say all 7 of you guys each have 6 drinks, that's $850.00 right there for your booze.

You're also going to have to pay $40.00 a person to get in. So that's another $280.00. Plus lets say $100-$150 grease to get in/get to the front of the line.

So, for $1300.00, yeah, you're in the club.... but no table, no where to sit and talk with women, ALSO no where to bring a girl you meet back to where other "Apes" can't approach her/bother her. (The biggest selling point to me is sitting in a VIP AREA, I know my sister/her friends/and their belongings are safe... they can get away from any creepazoid hitting on them.)

It's way better to just shell out money for bottle service....the last time I did everyone in my party got in FREE. We got in RIGHT AWAY. We sat in a VIP area, and I guarantee we got more drinks out of bottles than we would have buying rounds....I had a safe spot for my sis/her friends... and a nice place to bring any girls that me/my friends may talk to...

All around way better to just buy the bottle/bottles..

Also, don't ask a Security Guard or Bouncer to get you girls.. you're going to have VIP, a table to sit, and a bottle.... that's plenty enough to have girls come to you or go recruit them yourself.

Thats what i dont understand. The quote is 900 plus 20% tip 8% sales tax. So who is the tip for ???? the host or the Waitress?

The tip is extra, not mandatory like the 20% that is going to your waitress the tip goes to the host

What all are you getting for $900+20% tip, what type of liquor/what size bottle?

I am going to be going there on July 8th, so I am interested..

Also, what's acceptable to tip the host, lets say if I am with 1 other guy and 3 girls, total of 5...

Hey Guys,

I also have been looking at getting table Service for 8 guys on a friday night Mid July not a holiday weekend so im guessing thats why i think we got quoted a cheap table price.

We can get $900 Table minimum for 8 guys ( which any drinks can be purchaced not just bottles ) wont be a great table but when you do the maths works out pretty good.

$900 Table + 28.1% for Grat and Tax + about $150 tip for the Host works out to be about $160 - $170 each and considering it costs $40 pp to get in General admin i know i would rather pay an extra $20 to not wait in Line and have somewhere to sit.

Guess I'll see you guys in vanity because I'm in for table service on July 16th as well... I spoke with Jason Habel and he sent me a bottle service menu PDF... For vodka, Stoli is 475, Everything else is 495... After the 20% tip (which they auto add) and the tax 8.1%... it's actually $634 a bottle...

The 20% is for the chick who brings your bottles & the people who assist her with mixers & clean-up... Other tipping candidates are: 1)Your host: without a host tip you will get the worst possible table in the joint... 2) The bouncer assigned to your table: this guy can remove unwanted people, invite wanted people, watch your shit when u are away dancing & what not.... all in on 2 bottles your looking at 1550... 3 bottles 2200... And So on...

When I spoke with Jason (Vanity Host) he said, with 4 guys, 2 Bottles ($1,268 after tip & tax) and a ($300 which I suggested) host tip/greese sandwhich/handshake
he might be able to get us a table between the dancefloor and the main bar on the side of that cluster of tables shaped like an M on the map... The More Bottles you get the better your table... There is 2, 3, 4 and 5 plus bottle locations... The host tip can only move you up this latter so much... If you buy 2 bottles and tip say 300 you can end up in a 3 maybe 4 bottle location...

I'm going to be with 3 hot girls and I am not over-protective at all unless guys are just creeps, I might just grease the door guy to get all of us in quick, then make friends inside on the "house" music night.... I don't think it will be hard to make friends with some people who have a premium table location, especially when I'll have two things they want...

I don't feel like dropping 2k for a good table spot.
