  • Hello from Toronto

    Hi all,

My name's Jeff from Toronto, Canada. I'm 35 years old and I've been to Vegas a few times, vacation, Bachelor party (mine) and 1st year wedding anniversary. I've only stayed at the Flamingo and Mandalay Bay so far, but I'm heading down from June 29 - July 6 with my wife for our 10th anniversary and my best man is heading down for part of the trip as well (30 - 5). We are staying at the Venetian, hoping to try the twenty trick I learn about here to upgrade our room.

I've been trying to arrange some things to do in Vegas since I've only spent a total of 9 days in Vegas and I came across this great site. I read a thread that there is some partying going on Thursday to Sunday so I thought I'd post up and introduce myself (say Hi) and try to find out if the party in Vegas is open to new members.

    Welcome.

Another thing that I've always done is when I travel with a girl to Vegas I just tell the front desk that we're getting married. Always works.

When I stayed at the Venetian it got me like 3 or so floors from the top and a strip view.

I spent that "sandwich" money on more booze. Stupid Vegas.

Oh and hit up Royale for party timezzzz.

Dang bro...you're staying for a while...sometimes the sandwhich trick wont work for so many days. Good luck though, they might upgrade you then move you..sometimes they'll do that.

        Welcome aboard!

Thanks for the Welcome and tips guys!

Maybe with a larger "sandwich" and Charles suggestion of saying, "We're getting married, not just renewing our vows" will get us a better room, at least one with a view.

Yes, this will be our longest time in Vegas, we wanted to mix it up a bit do a little bit of site seeing and a lot of partying. We were hoping to come down with our own entourage, unfortunately, cost, timing, etc., it didn't work out as well originally planned but I'd still like to party with a few more people then just the three of us and it looks like Royal has quite the plan underway.
