I've read the guides and some of the posts here and have found them really helpful. But, I'm hoping someone can provide a little bit more in the way of direction regarding my upcoming weekend in Vegas.
Here's the deal - we're 4 guys, in our early- to mid-30s, who are going to be in town 7/16-7/18 for a bachelor party weekend. We're planning on going out to a late night at a club on Saturday (maybe an early night on Friday - 7am dune buggy excursion Sat morning), and I'm having angst deciding what the best place(s) to go might be.
Top of my list has been Tao, just because I've always wanted to go there, but I see that it's never on a list of top spots on Saturday nights - curious why that is. Next up until today was the set of clubs/bars at the Palms, but it seems they're pretty much out of style at present. Just found out about XS today - what's their table service like?
And, of course, the classic deals - given we're 4 guys there for a BP, is it likely that we'll really need to go the table service route in order to actually get into any place worthwhile? I've given the hired VIP host plan a thought as well, but having table service has other benefits (assuming they don't kick us off the table for some reason).
Thoughts?
