  • Wet Republic for $15?

    hi,

I know im supposed to contact the host listed here but I dont plan on buying bottles or buying daybeds/cabanas.

Cheapvegasclubs is advertising that for $15 you can get 3 people on the guestlist and pay no cover when you get there?

    Is this legit?

    http://www.cheapvegasclubs.com/wetrepublic.htm

    thanks

I would probably contact a host that is directly affiliated with the club/pool party to make sure.

Ive never heard of anyone charging for guestlist. Any host, bartender, or waitstaff affiliated with the venue will put you on the guestlist, as long as they have one.

dumb question maybe.. But when put on the guestlist what does that do? Free entry? no waiting in line? does it depend on the place?

            Its really a surprise.

Some venues have a guestlist line, which just means your in a shorter line. Some venues dont have a line at all, so you have to get the person with the clipboard attention, which can be a pain. I used to use the guestlist alot, but dont recall ever having my cover comped. It can get you in quicker though. Get there early and get noticed.

              Here's the detail:

"Wet Republic at MGM- Wet Republic is essentially an outdoor nightclub. This 53,000-square-foot "ultra pool" takes it to the max. Chill over cocktails in the poolside lounge, relax in a VIP bungalow or cabana, or just cool off in one of the eight pools (two containing saltwater). The open-air lounge alone is a 2,500-square-foot space with a 60-foot verde marble-topped bar with bamboo accents. This pool features 6 underwater speakers so you never miss a beat. http://www.cheapvegasclubs.com/apps/...ts/show/591644

Get on the guestlist for $15! No line no cover"

My interpretation of this is that your going to pay $15 for guestlist then Admission... I also don't see the $15 helping you in any significant way... Your better off betting the $15 on black at the first roulette table you see

Dont do it, they pay promoters to put of you GL and get you in places for free.... call one of the hosts on Coltons list and ask them to put you on a list. Also if you call and talk to them they are more likly to walk out and meet you at the ropes to walk you in.

Usually if you're a guy on the guest list, you still have to pay cover but you get to skip the long GA line. If you're a girl on the guest list, it's usually comped.

i agree with the last three. and being as it specifically says you won't get any tickets in the mail, i could see there being an issue when you get to Wet, because they won't know that you paid anyone anything....

+1. It def sounds like you're paying to be on the guestlist without a definite comped entry.

FYI that guestlist probably comes with a separate line access, and maybe discounted cover.
