  • Tao table placement help

Planning the Birthday party of one of my friends. Everything's all good except I'm trying to figure out the best placement for him. We're going with 5 guys.

How do you get the best table placement in Tao?
Who would i have to do the handshake with??
Does anyone have some suggestions on where on the main floor to avoid?

I was going to get a cabana, but ended up being told that the reason why they're not too expensive is because it's 92 degrees at night. haha

any dance floor table in the main room is not ideal for me, the dance floor is blocked off by a small rope but it still gets real crowded at your table, go for a cabana inside or one of the upper dance floor tables, the ones by the side bar, not the sky box. Sky box is cool cuz you look over the whole club but if you want the action of the main room then you dont want to be up there.

Ask for cabana 22, its in the main room, you get a private retreat off the main walk way, but also have a ton of traffic (ie girls) walking by. you also get a mini fridge that usually comes stocked with coronas (my personal experience). I have gotten them down to 2 bottles on a thursday and 4 bottles on a friday for my clients, which isnt that bad considering what the dance floor costs. Another great location (smaller tables) is the moat area roped up and elevated off the dance floor in the main room.

The moat sounds promising, but does anyone know how much of a handshake to get it? I found the map of the tables, but am unsure which one is the side bar you mentioned?? Is it on the right because I was thinking those tables are promising too. We are at a 1350 minimum right now,so that's like 2 bottles? We will be ordering 3 bottles do you think that makes any difference? Thanks guys! Appreciate the help. Trying to make my friends party memorable haha

No, with tao group, when they quote you a price or min, it does not include tax or gratuity, so that is a 3 bottle table, 450 a bottle. Your real bill will be higher. Also with the tao group, ive found that ordering more bottles will help get a better table placement rather than a handshake. just my 2 cents

              I see,
I guess if thats the case, where do you think would be a decent place to get an table. I'm not talking about the moat or prime dance floor tables cuz that seems out of the question.
Or do you think we shuld just show up a bit earlier and give a 200$ to the host sitting us down?
