  • Question about Tao Bottle Service

Still trying to figure out what club, definitely know we're getting bottle service just don't know where (6 guys this coming saturday). Just got an email from Bob: Quoted me $900 for Tao beach and $1350 for Main room with bottles starting at $450. I want to do main, but I think 3 bottles is a bit much for 6 guys. It'd probably be a case that we'd have to get the expensive stuff.

What you guys think. Also he mentioned "he table minimum is in bottle sales before tax and service charge (not a table fee that includes bottles)". Anybody know what he means by "service charge". For 6 guys we figured the max we're looking to spend pp is $200 (not including host tip).

As far as I can tell the 'service charge' is that extra little ZING! to get more money. I haven't been able to figure out what exactly it is. I'm guessing if you asked Bob, it might be something to do with the server helping with mixers? That's my best guess. I'm basing this off the hotels charging you a service fee for gym, newspaper, robes, bottles, etc. regardless of whether or not you use any of that.

I've always understood Service Charge to be Tip (20%) and Tax (LV 8.1%).

this is correct. so if they are quoting $900 and $1350 min, you are actually going to pay at least $1152 and $1728.

3 bottles for 6 guys means that you need to find girls to come help you finish. i'd suggest you just get a magnum of vodka and the right bottle of champagne to help you meet the minimum without going too far over.

        have fun.

We did bottles at Tao Beach on Saturday night of MDW. It was probably the best table service night I've had in Vegas. 90-95% of the music was hip-hop and Top 40 which was perfect for my group since that's about all we like.

Not sure what kinda music you prefer and I'm sure it changes every weekend, but just FYI.

Yea, my best table experience was my first night in Vegas at Tao. We did 2 bottles with 4 guys. Since it's 6 of you guys, you can try doing 2 bottles and ordering red bulls and waters to kind of reach the minimum without having to order another bottle. But between 6 guys, it should come out to that much anyways.
