Ditch Friday Cabana

Alright people, I need a little help. I booked a Cabana at Ditch Friday's on June 18th for my group...they quoted me at $2000 minimum with up to 10 people. We started with 10 but are now at 7...so obviously with tip and everything it's getting pricey per head. I know that UFC is at Palms' that weekend so prices might be higher.

But, man we are already staying at the palms so cover and waiting in line isn't an issue. It just seems to me that I'm getting raked a little over the coals here. Is it my fault for just cold calling a host from 9 Group that runs the pool?

Does anyone have a host contact that they can hook me up with that would be a bit more competitive on price...or is this price normal and this is what I should expect?

man I don't know...I'm starting to think about cancelling it and just hanging pool side and ordering drinks that way...it probably would save us a nice junk of scratch for our other batchelor party shit going on that weekend.

Honestly, every time I've been to ditch, we've just gone earlier, grabbed some chairs and hung out poolside. Never a bad time and plenty of ways to get drinks. Save the coin is what I say...it'll be better served elsewhere...

Thats probably a very good idea or just get a couple of chairs to set your stuff down like Nassau did by greasing. That worked out pretty good for like a party of 15 people. The only thing is that the staff there are douches. They will constantly come over and tell you that you are partying in their way. We dealt with two waitresses at the bar that were PMS'in. One of our boys wanted ice water after he put up a $300 tab, and she straight told him to go to the watering station and pointed towards the pool. We were like "WTF".
