Another MDW Bachelor Party TR

Hey guys,

As a newbie to the forum, just want to let everyone here know that this is a great resource for everything vegas. Just had my bachelor party over MDW. Here it is....total of 6 guys on the trip..

Friday

I leave the east coast at 3 P.M and arrive at my layover in St. Louis. Immediately call my brother who is there and tell him to put $50 on the Magic (too bad they lost) and get a HUGE bottle of vodka for the pre partying. Head over to the Budweiser brewhouse and start drinking beers. Chat to a couple of guys at the bar, and find out they are extremely jealous of me heading to vegas, as they're going to Little rock, St. Paul or wherever. Get on the airplane, and can barely sit in my seat I'm so damn excited. Grab a couple more drinks on the plane, and feeling pretty good...Finally I get the first ear pop...this only means one thing...Starting our descent into VEGAS!!!

We finally land, and my buddy who is also flying in meets me at the gate. We head out to the taxi line and see about a million people there. We look at each other and say fuck it. Limo driver overhears us and says he can hook it up. $65 plus tip to the venetian. We jump on the deal, expecting a 4 door towncar. To our surprise, it is a no shit 20 person party bus, stocked with drinks. Great start to the trip!!! we pound some drinks and pull up to the venetian double fisting. My brother has already checked into our suite. we get up there and continue drinking. We have tables at TAO, and booked through Bob Shindelar. Excellent service. Was told to arrive by 11, so we decide to hit the tables. We win a couple hundred, no big deal. I get the call that the last one of our crew can't make it tonight, as he had to work. so only 5 of us tonight.

11 pm rolls around, we get to TAO to a sea of people. Walk up to the ropes, and we are ushered into the line to get out ID's checked. I'd say it was about a 5 minute wait. we had a minimum of $900, and are given a table up at TAO beach. No problems here, as it was gorgeous up there. good music, people, and cool temperature. We get the drinks and start pounding. This is where my memory gets faded. I remember having a great time...talking, dancing....etc and I look at my watch...its 5 A.M. I felt like i had been here for 30 minutes. I guess that's why they call it Sin city...haha.

I remember trying to leave TAO, but just ended up getting lost as hell and losing my buddies. After a million texts, we meet up at the tables and gamble some more. Don't know how, but I end up with about 1.5 g's in chips. we say time for breakfast and go to the grand lux cafe at the venetian. Our server sees that we are hammered and recommends the breakfast buffet. All you can eat to drunk guys...YES!!! Great buffet, complete with an omelet station. we scarf it down as there are normal people who were actually eating breakfast at their normal times. Feeling good, I thank the server for recommending the buffet, tip him a $20 (buffet was $15) and head up to the room where we pass out.

Day 2 (Saturday)

Get woken up by my buddy who just flew in at around 11 am. he has been walking around for 2 hours and has called us a million times. We have all 6 now. I realize that all 5 of us slept in the same room in the venetian. We had a bella suite with 2 queen beds and a couch. The plan was 3 people here, and the other 3 at the riviera. I guess the other guys were too tired to walk/ cab over to the riviera, so they passed out here. oh well, no big deal. I gather up the troops, and we head down to the pool. Saw the monster line for TAO beach, and decided that it wasn't worth the wait. (Originally did not reserve anything due to some guys being on a budget) By this time, there are no chairs left, so we find a spot by the pool and relax for a while. We get some beers and just chill out. A group of 3 girls come by and start chatting with us. 3 of us at the pool, the other 3 are passed out in the room. Nice girls from LA, we hang out for a couple of hours and grab their numbers. They say they'll meet us at tryst later that night. We head out to grab some food...and we see a chioptle. I know we are in Vegas, but we say fuck it and just eat it bc it'll be quick.

Head back to the venetian and grab one of those abnoxious drinks on the strip. Hit the craps tables, and we are on a hot roll. I'm now up to 3 g's and my buddies are doing pretty well for themselves. Is it just me, or is it whenever a girl who has never played craps rolls, she rolls forever??? Anyways, my buddies decide to hit the blackjack table and proceeed to lose all their money. Oh well, it comes, it goes.

It's dinner time, so we get dressed and hop in a limo to the wynn. Its right next door. oh well, once again its vegas. we grab dinner at terrace point cafe, which overlooks the pool. we have some delicious dinner and head over to tryst at 10:30. I had confirmed with P.Frank earlier, and he told us it was gonna be a busy night. Talked to a host, and met P. Frank. He introduces us to Mike (I believe) and he tells me that our table is outside, pretty far from the dance floor. I ask if there is anything he can do for me, and he says of course and offers me an upgrade. I could tell he was trying to ask for a tip, but didn't want to come out and say it. I told him that I understood, and gave him 300 and asked if that would bring us closer. He says, that'll work and we get escorted downstairs. This whole process took about 5 minutes. Again shoutout to this site, for the great info. The line at tryst was crazy, and it's always priceless to have a host ask you where the rest of your party is, go find them, and bypass the the line. bottle service is worth this alone.

Our table is still outside, but its the first one on the outside, the one immediately to the right of the dance floor. Prime location for 2 bottle minimum on MDW. We get our bottles, meet our waitress, who was awesome. She made our drinks all night, very friendly, just top notch. We meet a bachelorette party at the table next to us, and some girls celebrating college graduation. On top of this, the girls from the pool earlier text us and ask us if were inside tryst. literally 5 mins later they're at the table. the bachelorettes go back to their table, as they weren't getting too much attention from us. The college girls and the girls from the pool hang out with us. i would say there were about 7 girls total. Now our group has asian, hispanics, and white guys. My Asian buddy is in love with the college girls, my hispanic buddy is totally into one of the girls from the pool. The night goes on, and we are having a total blast. We're out of liquor, so we head to the bar and take 2 patron shots each. Dont remember who paid for this one, but I think the college girls bought this one for us.

We get back to the table, and my buddy out of nowhere says, Were getting another bottle. Bottles of goose that night were $595. My buddy says he doesn't care, and that there is only one bachelor party. So he pays for it himself, but i feel bad and stuff a couple hundred in his pocket. I end up drinking half of this bottle straight and having the time of my life. at one point i was on the dance floor with this bottle drinking it an pouring shots into girls mouths. Bouncers arent too fond of this, and ask me to return to the table. I'm a happy drunk, so i happily oblige and head back to the table. Tryst is starting to clear out(no idea what time it was) My buddy says he has already called the rhino and were going. We head to the rhino with some of the girls. (cant remember which ones)
Rhino was packed, and a good time. We go outside, and the sun is now out. My 2 buddies say they need the room to do their business, so myself (bachelor with no intent of cheating) and the ones who couldn't sang a girl that evening head back to the tables. I end up playing black jack and start playing $500 hands. Dealer looks at me like I'm crazy, but I go on a crazy run and end up with 4 g's. We once again eat breakfast at grand lux cafe and head up to the room. We get up there, and my 2 buddies are up there with their girls passed out. I go over wake them up, make the girls feel really uncomfortable and head to bed.

Now mind you, we had a room at the riviera, but i think the guys that were supposed to stay in spent a total of 10 minutes there the whole weekend. Oh well....

day 3 (Sunday)

wake up and hit in n out burger for lunch. after we get back, 3 of us decide for a massage at canyon ranch spa. It was my first real massage, so i have no basis for comparison.

Original plan was to hit lavo for dinner and then bottles afterward, but everyone is feeling pretty tired from the past couple of days. Also, I'm the only one that has won any money this weekend and everyone was feeling pretty poor. So, i offer to put the whole night on myself, but everyone says no way and we just take it easy.

So kind of a lame ending to the weekend, we gambled a bit more, i end up losing a $1000, decide to stop and go home with $3k. But all in all, I had a great time with my friends who I don't get to see that often. Thanks again to this site for all the good info.

I know kimball posted some tips at the end of his TR, here are a few things we learned.

Have everyone stay at the same hotel. the next time we go, we will definitely stay at a 2br suite or penthouse somewhere. We really enjoyed having everyone together, but not crammed in the same room.

Again, collect all the money upfront. we did the same thing kimball did, collect money for the tables before we went to the club, and just hand the money to the waitress.

Definitely plan to hit a pool party. This is the one thing we missed out on, but if you have the cash do it. we met some awesome people at the pools, and I'm sure it was even better inside TAO beach, wet, etc. We just couldn't afford a cabana during MDW.

Great TR kuddo's to you for keeping your self respect and not cheating.
I agree any virgin to the craps table (regardless of sex) rolls forever. I always gamble heavier with a virgin rolling and have always come out ahead.
Now what are you goiing to spend that 3g on your honeymoon?

The money will definitely be going towards the honeymoon! I think we just might splurge for the first class tickets now... Also, just wanted to throw this out there. I just received an offer for up to 4 complimentary nights at the venetian or palazzo during the month of june. I don't consider myself a high roller by any means, usually $25-$50 a hand on black jack, and similar amounts on craps. I find this to be a really nice offer, and recommend that you guys sign up for the players club there. I'm usually an MGM player, and have received free offers before, but usually after multiple trips. The offer from the venetian came after one trip. Too bad I can't use the offer!
