2 of us (guys) will be there from Thurs. night 7/15 until Sunday night 7/19 (redeye back to Boston) for my friend's 30th. Staying at the Mirage.

Here's what we are thinking (nothing set in stone):

Thurs night- TAO
Friday- EBC, Liquid, or Wet
Friday night- Maybe Surrender for Aoki
Saturday- Bare
Saturday night- Open
Sunday- EBC for Kaskade

Did the wolfpack get a good deal for Vanity tables (prime spot)?

About the Vanity Bottles...
We are actually going with Vegas VIP... There are a few unique factors as to why I'm going ths rout...

1) (No guaranteed table location) I called the Vanity Contact off the site and told him exactly what I was looking to arrange (4 Guys, 2 Bottles and a pre agreed table location)... At first he told me that for my suggested location I would need to purchase 4 bottles (I was looking for a table between the main bar and the dancefloor, not a crazy request IMO)... I then counter offered with a $300 handshake (The total price for bottles, tax, tip and the 300 handshake would have been 1,600)... He said and I quote... "Hmmmmm... Let me see what I can do... I think I can help you guys out... Call me a week before you arrive..." IMO thats not good enough...

2) (The outside host ended up being the same price) I had also been in contact with a guy from my highschool who works for Vegas VIP(BTW we did not get any special deal because we knew him in HS)... He gave us a guantree on the exact table we wanted for the exact price as it would have cost with the club host after the $300 handshake (1600) and the contract states the exact table number (which is what I was lookig for)...

3) (Advance T&E Writeoff)This is where the deal gets real sweet for me... I was also able to pay for the table in advance using my T&E Expense Account... So check this out... because I've already wrote it off through my company and already received the cash back... Now on Saturday night at Vanity my friends will be paying me 1200 and I don't have to pony up any $$$... Not a bad deal... It's like getting two free bottles and winning $1200 at the Black Jack Tables... Not a bad guaranteed outcome...

For Sunday we need just one Magnum, by then it will only be
3 of us... Our forth has rules like a gremlin... No drinking in Vegas for more than 3 nights in a row...

LAVO will do one Magnum for 700 which ends up being a grand all in...

The Bank wants 1200 per magnum with a 2 bottle minimum... Even if your contact could/would do one magnum for 3 guys its gonna cost 1200 + TAX + Tip... Thats getting close to 500 each vs. 333 each... And last year we had a sick crazy
time at LAVO...

I just worry about guaranteed tables...who says they MUST keep their word on the table location? Good luck though man, I hope it works out.

1) Any tip depends on it

2) He says they have pre arranged contracts on a number of table locations

3) I did go to highscchool with the guy

4) And most important!! He knows I'm on JC.com and will rip him & his company relentlessly
