My Own Bachelor Party

Hey all...long time reader of the site, newbie poster. Just wanted some thoughts and advice on something. Like the title says, I'm actually planning out most, if not all, of my own bachelor party (friends can't be relied on too well...especially when it comes to vegas!!) for Aug 19-22. 7 guys total.

We're thinking go big one night with bottles, etc and just use a list somewhere another night. Originally, I was thinking Pure for my "big" night as I've gotten tables there in the past, had a good hookup there, etc. But the last time I was there was last August and from what I've heard, the scene has gotten considerably worse there...is this legitimately the case? I loved that place, especially the terrace for tables, so any info would be greatly appreciated.

If not Pure, I'm now thinking either XS or Surrender/EBC for the big night as that's where my contact now is. Only foreseeable issue there is that I was quoted a min of $2000 for a fri or sat night for a table inside Surrender and $1500 for a daybed at EBC at night. Since both places are new, are those reasonable prices for Surrender/EBC and can I expect the same or similar prices at XS?

Also, for the "regular" night, I was originally thinking Haze, but still don't know much about it. So any advice would be awesome as to the newer spots and lists for 7 guys.

Not interested in LAX, Palms clubs, or Hard Rock spots. Only semi-interested in Tao or Jet as I've been to all of these places a bunch of times.

Any and all info would be greatly appreciated as I'm certainly not a vegas rookie, but it's definitely my first and hopefully only time planning my own bachelor party!! Feel free to post anything here or PM me. Thank you!

You should hire me to plan your party... rent me as a best man.

It's all about how much you and your group wants to spend... If you want to spend more... XS. If you would rather get more bottles for the same price... or spend less... do Pure.

The $2000 or $1500 table min sounds right on. There's a post just stated about Surrender and EBC... from what I took from it... it sounds like you would rather be outside at the beach club. Surrender is small inside. I think you will be quoted higher prices at XS.

I have not heard many great things about Haze... no one has said they loved it and have to go back... just that it's so so.

What about doing Pure of Jet for your "regular" night. Look for some
B1G1 bottle deals... both clubs will offer them depending on the night.

I would also suggest the free limo pick up and free admission at the Rhino. Best strip club hands down... everyone in my group fell in love with the place.

lol, the sad part is that I have 2 best men and they're both incompetent when it comes to vegas!! i myself have more vegas knowledge than all the other clowns combined...though i guess it helps that i've been out there a dozen times in the last 3 1/2 years!!

yea, the more i think about it, the more i think i may do EBC as my big night depending on the music instead of surrender. i've heard nothing but good about EBC but most good though a little bad about surrender. it helps that i have the good contact there too. and i may wind up doing pure as the second night anyway since we'll be at caesars for dinner anyway.

regarding haze, that's the same thing i've been hearing too...that the club is beautiful but the service sucks. light/bank and jet i've had mostly good experiences at, but they can be a bit snotty i guess, so the haze rep seems to fit in with those.

as for the rhino...last time i was there, we rolled out of the place at i think 7am, WITH our limo driver, lol. so yea, i hear ya on falling in love with that place!!

hopefully we'll be able to get some good conversation going back and forth on this thread so i won't be stuck planning everything on my own. maybe i'll even coerce some of my guys to come on here and check it out, hint hint, haha.

I think we have the same friends... I would plan my own party in Vegas as well.

I say go with EBC... you also have a contact there that will take care of you. You should also be able to swing some kind of deal at Pure. I was just there Saturday and the terrace was great... packed for MDW.

You know what to do... just come up with a plan of attack and go with it. You will have a great time anywhere you go... Someone will always suggest a different club. But, if you are with your boys... and the right kind of people... you can have a party anywhere.

haha, yea, we may have the same friends. i did go to law school in michigan after all and i just that you were from novi!! i agree though...we'll have a good time anywhere. i just wish some of my boys weren't so damn cheap so this would be a non-issue! do me a favor and PM or post here the guy you dealt with at pure, the deal you had, some details, etc. thanks man.

I went through Brandon Ring... he's listed on the JC homepage. It was not much of a deal that night because of the holiday... but less than other clubs. We had to spend $1500... bottles of sky were $475. We got 3 bottles and some red bull... it was under the table min by like $50 but no one said anything. Bottles should be less every other weekend.

I just spoke with Brandon about a table for next weekend and for 6 guys it's 2 bottle minimum with bottles starting at $425 so basically a $850 minimum + 20% Gratuity and 8% Sales Tax. Mixers are included so is not waiting in line, and cover.

yea, those are the prices that brandon quoted me as well. thats pretty much the norm out there and right about what ive paid i think every time i've gotten a table on the terrace.

my issue is that i love pure, always have. it's been my spot since it opened. but last time i was there was this past summer and i've heard it's not as hot as it used to be. now i dunno if thats including what it was like last summer or if thats generally since then. so anyone who's been out there over the course of the past few months, if you could share your input, that would be greatly appreciated!

Pure was packed last Saturday... but it was a holiday. I think they will get a good crowd on the weekends and tuesday.
