MGM hotel

Hey all,

im still researching hotels and stuff watiing for good promo deals to come out. A boss of mine stayed at the MGM i think last year, said it was great etc etc.

I found some really good deals on it like between $50 - $100 a night but havent really found to much info on the hotel on this forum

It looks like a great deal but will it be a party atmosphere and young crowd? If not, im probs going to just hit the palms or something up coz a young party crowd is the main thing for me as im solo travelling.

so looking for thoughts on the MGM @ $50 a night (sat, sun + mon)

mgm is a good hotel, however it can be a pian in the ass depending on where your room is. the place is HUGE and it can literally take 20 min to get to pool from your room. as for a party atmosphere....its vegas it will be a party, as for the young crowd I think it will be mixed and there are some great bars lounges and wet bar there. if price is very important to you I would do it if you could splurge a littel more I would do plams or hard rock. If its solely young crowd you want and palms rates arent in your ballpark I would look at TI....its a good spot and pretty young good pool good bars etc. you def have options available

I like the MGM, that's where I will be staying when I go in June. When we booked MGM had the best deals going on.

$50 a night is a great deal on the strip.. i would take it if i was you.. !!! I have a great friend who books all my travel/ hotels and get the best deals our there and lots of free stuff to if you would like me to put you in contact with him P.M. me

Ive stayed at MGM and NYNY (across the street), and they were nice. The only reason I dont stay there anymore is because of the location. I spend the majority of time in Vegas between Paris and TI. It can be a bit of a walk from those hotels.

Messy, i cant speak from experience but i have heard that planet hollywood has a younger crowd. can anyone confirm for the lad?

I can confirm that I have heard the same thing but have not stayed there or partied there

YES. Had some friends stay there, and said the pool scene was great. They were all late 20s early 30s.
