Are we getting a good deal?

Hey guys, I'm brand new on here and just wanted to run my group's bachelor party plans for friday june 11th-13th. We're staying at the monte Carlo and planned a "hangover package" through vegashotspots.com. We have a group of 8 and paid $89 per guy for limo transportation and no lines or covers to the following clubs on friday....The limo picks us up at our hotel and takes us over to the Luxor and our rep walks us into cathouse where we stay as long as we'd like (probably not more than a drink there). From cathouse we are escorted into LAX for as long as we want to be there, a limo will then take us to Pure where we can close it down and/or then continue on to sapphires strip club with free admission, a table, and a complementary drink. Seems like there won't be any hassle going the VIP route with so many guys on a weekend? We are all just out of college and really can't afford the bottle service since it is so outrageous. A question I have is while we're at the clubs will we have to stand the whole time without a bottle service or is there general seating for those who aren't forking up $500 per bottle? Are we getting a good deal, from all the research I've done it seems like it but I just want to be sure? Thanks!

You're pretty much going to have to stand the whole time. You might find a bench or two at random clubs, but it's rare. Most seating is reserved for people with bottle service. When you think about it though, you guys are already spending $90 each. Just add a bit more and you should be able to get a table with atleast 2 bottles. You guys might have to split up so your bottle minimum wont be so high, but you can make it happen. When you thinik about it, you're only paying $90 to cover your entrance to the clubs. You still need to add the cost of drinks and you have no where to sit. Atleast with bottle service you'll have bottles and mixers with a place to sit down. It doesn't hurt to ask. Call or text a few Hosts from the JC list. These are Hosts that work directly for the club. I wouldn't mess with independent hosts. You can find the list on the main page: http://www.jackcolton.com/

You are paying $712 total for a group of 8 just to get into a couple establishments and you have to buy your own drinks the rest of the night. I would suggest you reach out to a couple different hosts and find out what kind of minimum you can get for bottle service. You wouldn't go to a variety of places but you would have your own area and probably more booze than you can actually finish. You'd be surprised to see that bottle service can actually be cost effective...especially when dealing with VIP host companies.

My only problem with the bottle service is that we're most likely looking at 600-800 dollars for 2 bottles and a table between 8 guys for being at a club for maybe 2 hours....thats 75 dollars per guy on drinks for maybe 2 hours at one club......say you're buying mixed drinks at 12 bucks a pop, you're looking at 5 of those for approximately 60 bucks in 2 hours. That's a ton of booze in that time frame for quite a bit less, even cheaper if you go with beer. I don't think standing will be much of a problem...we wont be outta place standing will we? Not making excuses but lots of the guys are going out on a financial limb by doing this package to go on the club scene which irks me but whatya do? I wouldn't have a problem doing the bottle service personally but I'm just looking out for the masses here. Saturday we have nothing planned and probably just want to go to more of a bar scene with a more laid back dress code but with a good party atmosphere....any good suggestions..I've heard of coyote ugly, diablos, etc. are these types of establishments good for that scene? Yes you are being riped off. Number one they are not real good clubs, number 2 bottle service is WAY worth it! You wont be there for 2 hours you will be there longer. You will also be saving money. Drinks, even beer are $12 and up and the avarage guy drinks 5 drinks night in a las vegas club, this does not include drinks they end up buying for girls. standing wont put you out of place but it can get boring. If you want to attract girls you want a table, they will come to you, you dont have to find them. do what you want but coming from someone who used to work in the industry, the deals on the websites are rip offs and working with hosts is way better off.

if you go to a club for bottle service, you will most likely be there the majority of the night. if you get lucky, you leave early

mixed drinks are $12 to $15 + tip. shots cost about the same. also, you have to factor in the $89/person cost you are giving the vip host company which is in addition to the drink cost.

And since the VIP service is already paid for, it really wouldn't be worth staying at the one club the whole night because then it'd be like wasting $89 on just one club with additional cash spent on a table. If we wouldn't have paid for the VIP already I would highly consider everybody's suggestions on bottle service at 1 club, but the guys just wanted a taste of more than 1 club in vegas without spending the whole night waiting in line and dealing with doormen. We are small town Iowa boys after all so hopefully LAX and pure give us our Vegas club fix!

Don't think anybody realized you had already paid for the VIP service. Knowing that you are already out 89 bucks each, yeah, it makes no sense to do bottle service on top and more than double your cost.

As for Saturday night, I bet a group looking for what you are asking about would like Carnival Court. I would also highly encourage casino bar hopping.

Yea, in the future, stay away from independent vip hosts. Plus, you're hopping around the sub-par clubs, when you can spend the whole night in a really good one. You'll still have a good time, no question about that. Let us know how it works out.

Tough luck dude. It's not a great deal, as others have said you'd be better off just paying a bit more for bottle service. Don't forget you get more play with a table. Would have been better to do the research before forking over money, but hey it's vegas. You will still have fun.

I am from the Midwest as well, and I remember my first trip out to Vegas with the boys on a tight budget. You guys will have a night to remember. Everyone is giving you suggestions on what you could have/should have done, but they are all experienced Vegas veterans. Have fun and don't regret your decision to book the Hangover Package. Next time, however, you may want to consult with this board to get some other options before you book.

+1 I used to use the guestlist and never did bottle service. Didnt do it this last time either, but that doesnt mean its cheap. My bar tab at vanity last friday was $320.
