I have yet to find any reviews on this hotel/casino.

How was your stay here? Room size? Room quality? Pool or not?

I stayed there for a night once.

It's a decent hotel. Nothing fancy, nothing flashy.

Basic and small casino, tiny sports book.

Quick drink service, great location across from MGM.

Cheap as fuck. Like $20 on weeknights.

Room was about what you'd expect for the price. Small tv, average feeling bed, ok bathroom. Basically just a place to sleep.

Pool looked ok, small though. Young crowd. Didn't go out there, but had a view of it.

So if you're on a budget, it's perfectly acceptable.

Well it pretty much is on the strip.

Maybe a five min walk to Las Vegas Blvd? Maybe less.

MGM is as quick as you can jaywalk.

The Hooters hotel is right behind the Tropicana. Therefore, a 2 minute walk and you are at the corner where the MGM is located.

I'm surprised more people on this forum don't stay there considering many here are bargain hunters and don't mind being off strip.
is it because of the atmosphere?
