  • AOD TDB in Toronto/Montreal - Quest for Exodus

    **Update:

Just wanted to update everyone that this trip will be postponed until sometime next year. I have to assure you that none of the leg work / research has been lost. All the plan files have been saved in a safe place on my hard drive. I will pick back up where we left off probably after next year's LV Exodus/AOD invasion.

Also I am starting to gather information on Ultra Music Festival 2011 in Miami. So far just pitching the idea out on FB has drawn a significant amount of interest. Expect a thread to be up around October'ish. We will invade MIA for sure! Its the works..

    Check: http://www.ultramusicfestival.com/
for updates and ball park figures on tickets. This has been dubbed as the best musical event in the world, and I can't wait to experience it first hand with my JC AOD crew.

    ------------------------

Alright, I have been talking to about 10 of you the last few days and I just randomly threw the idea of going to Toronto/Montreal for a clubbing and strip clubbing debauchery. After looking at the very afford bottle service prices in the top notch Toronto clubs, and how easy it is to take a train from Toronto to Montreal, this trip seems very doable.

So here is the initial proposed plan:

This will be a 5 day trip. If you guys choose to stay longer, go for it! The group events will be scheduled for 5 days.
The plan is to get into town on a Wednesday. Warm up to the night life a little bit at some bars/clubs in Toronto. Then on Thursday take the train out (5 hour ride) to Montreal. Spend 2 nights in Montreal. 1st night strip club night. 2nd night club night. Come back on Saturday and close the weekend off in the top two clubs. Monday return flight.

Let me know what you guys think! Projected date right now is Sept 7th - Sept 13th. This way if you guys want to stack your labor day vacation and have a longer trip, its possible.

PS. Raul also came up with a wonderful idea of renting a vacation home

Consider flying back and forth to MTL

If you're staying right downtown you can fly out of the Toronto Island airport on Porter Airlines. You'll be in MTL in 90 minutes vs a solid 5 and a half on the train. Shouldn't be more than $300 or so. If you're short on time, it's a solid option. Train can be cheaper, but you're looking at 11 hours on the train over a couple of days, which can be a drag. Unless you're boozing the whole time. Which you will be.

                  Please disregard all above.

Nice! I like the sound of this...

The train thing will work out cause we are going to be boozing pretty hard core and sleeping at the sametime. Besides 80 vs 300 is huge difference

I think we'd get kicked out of the train and/or wouldn't be allowed to return on it lol
