Must Do's for a First Timer

So my cousin is coming out to Vegas the end of June. It is her first time as well as the friend she is going with. I can't make it down to give them a "tour" of all that Sin City has to offer. She asked for a list of must do's for her and her friend to do. I honestly have the hardest time thinking of things since my first time was a while ago. They just graduated college so don't have a ton of money (but let's be honest they are girls so not a huge problem).

Anyone have any must do's other than the obvious of seeing all the different hotels and shopping?? or anything they remember was really cool on their first visit out?

Probably the free shows on the strip, like the bellagio fountain, Mirage fire show, Treasure Island Pirate show...it just added to the spectacle and wonder of Vegas for me.

I would say research one nice restaurant to have dinner at during your trip. Something upscale & worth the money (also, check out restaurant.com sales on their gift card - can eat nice on the cheap).

I would say go see the free shows, and do some shopping one night. Next morining go to a spa and sight see the rest of the day, and at night go catch a fancy dinner and a show. Last day and night go to a pool and nightclub.

An ex-gf took me on a helicopter tour of the strip. She got a good deal... it was $100 for the both of us. It was at night too... with all the lights on the strip.

Hmmm..... I'd say have them do one end of the strip one night and the other end on the other night. Make sure she hits up some of the casino bars too! As well as the stuff on the walk in between the casinos.
