Hi all
Came back from a great Vegas w/e with my British friends a few weeks back. So much so, we are going again this year (8 guys in total) as word has spread !
Only disappointment from my last visit was Tryst on Saturday night. We had a table reserved (Patrick was very responsive) for 5 guys, two bottle minimum. One of the guys didn't make the evening due to alcohol poisoning from the Friday night (we could see it coming..:-) and therefore 4 of us pitched up for the table. They insisted on 2 bottles between the four of us, which I accepted as this had been what was previously agreed with Patrick, however our table was at the far side of the pool, by the waterfall. Whilst it's a smart location, the reality is you get very little foot traffic in that part of Tryst, we felt very much stuck out on our own. I certainly disagree with anyone that suggests there is not a bad table at Tryst.
Anyway, I tried negotiating with the VIP host (it wasn't Patrick) on the night to move us somewhere closer to the action. His english wasn't great, but anyway he wanted $2500 minimum to move us to a table nearer the dancefloor entrance door, but still outside (not even inside). For 4 guys this was ridiculous and understandably we refused. We had an ok night at Tryst, however it was also evident that they hadn't sold all of their Tables, something that surprised me for a Saturday night in May.
Anyway, 8 of us guys (early 30's) are flying over later this year (Sept) and want to do table service on the Friday night. My question is simply which club would you recommend for us to do table service (XS? Vanity? Pure? etc) and where to request to be located when making the arrangements. We don't mind doing 3 bottle minimums, that's fine, we just want to be located in a club where it's going to be in the heart of the action.
Advice is appreciated
Cheers
