Tao or Tryst on a Thursday night?

I know Thursday is the big night for Tao and Tryst. We are coming with another couple in May, and everyone in our group except my wife has been to Tao. I like Tao, while the other couple we're going with loves it.

Now, nobody in our group has been to Tryst, but I've heard/seen nothing but rave reviews. I'm leaning towards reserving a table at Tryst, but I need a little ammo to back up my decision.

For those of you who have been to both clubs, which do you like better and why?

Tao is my favorite, but Tryst is sweet too. Since you havent been to Tryst, you should check it out. It really depends on what your taste are. Too me, Tryst is more laid back. Id say Tao is the ultimate nightclub experience, and Tryst is the ultimate ultra lounge experience, but Tryst does have a dance floor and DJ.

I am going to SHOCK everyone on here by saying......TRYST!!!! especially for 2 couples get a table on the lake and I am absolutely positive that they will love it.......just simply tell everyone lets try something different AND NYC says go there!!!! Honestly I just like the open floor layout no hallways and walkways and diff rooms etc you can glimpse the whole club and the vibe is off the hook, but then again I had a bad experience at tao that kind of taints my point of view

Well this is easy for me becuase i live here and go to both all the time but i think it would be best to wait til the week of and see what the event is for both venuse before you chose but i have to say that is the best day to go for both clubs for deals. Tryst

I'd pick Tryst anyday. The bartender Autumn is awesome. She's also hot. Camille (who's half Asian, half white) is hot and friendly. Adam who works at the front is great - always been straight up and honest with me.

And then there's the layout: it's not too dark and it's got a luxurious vibe to it. The music is good too.
