Who's stayed there yet? The hotel website is a bit vague for some of them, so tell me about them, both the casual and fine dining spots. Most interested in reasonably priced breakfast and lunch spots, dinner can be pricey but not obscene.

I have not been there... but I walked by and want to check out Union steakhouse.

But one knock I have seen for myself and read is very few reasonably priced breakfast and lunch spots. I could not find anywhere to grab a quick sandwhich one afternoon.

might be better off at crystals at citycenter. at least they have todd english's p.u.b which is open for lunch. and mastros for dinner is bananas if it's anything like the beverly hills one...

I ate at the Mastro's in Scottsdale last year and it was absolutely spectacular. Hopefully the quality translates to Vegas!

Was just there a couple weeks ago, and had a few meals there:

Lemongrass - had lunch there, thought it was really good. We had massive hangovers, and the place was nice & quiet, with clean decor & perfect (not too bright, not too dim) lighting, the food was good, and the Thai iced tea strong but easy on the stomach. All in all, it was the perfect hangover remedy. A bit pricey for a casual lunch, however.

Jean Georges Steakhouse - I thought dinner here was excellent, and I hope to go there again the next time I'm in Vegas. The service was spot-on, steaks were like buttah, and the atmosphere is great for a group of guys...not too quiet, you don't feel bad having an animated conversation or laughing or anything. Price-wise, on par any other upscale steakhouse on the strip...about $175pp for one shared app, 2 moderately-priced bottles of wine, 3 steaks, 3 sides, 2 shared desserts, and 3 after-dinner drinks. My wife took me to an upscale steakhouse (it's considered one of the better steakhouses in a town that's quite serious about its steak) for my b-day here in Chicago, and it didn't hold a candle to Jean Georges.

Aria Buffet - meh. It's pretty standard. Not as good as the buffet at the Wynn, but not as crappy as the buffet at Bally's. I wouldn't go again. Fortunately I ate my weight in Alaskan king crab legs, so I don't feel too bad about going there.

My husband and I have eaten at American Fish for dinner. It's amazing if you like fish you have to go. I had the crab cake appetizer (~$15). I've been searching but have never had a good crab cake since that one! For entree I had the salt baked Tasmanian Sea trout (~$35). I also highly rec. that dish. It was amazing, similar to salmon I guess you could say. We shared a side that I can't remember (~$15).

For lunch I think there was some sort of cafe/lunch spot upstairs (not casino level). sorry I don't know the name.

Happy hour at American Fish, I believe 5-7pm, $5 food from the bar and lounge menu. $4 Beer and $7 on certain cocktails and wine.

If not, always breeze cafe or skybox for cheapest food on the property.
