  • Bare Pool MDW

    Hi all,

I am travelling a group of 9 (2 girls, 7 guys) from Australia to vegas for the MDW. We are becoming a bit overwhelmed with all the options and pricing for the pools and clubs over the weekend and I was after some advice.

We are thinking of getting either a day bed or a cabana at Bare on the saturday or sunday.

Which is the best day to go?
Is Bare a good spot, or are there better places around the same price?
I have been quoted at $2500 for a cabana for 10 ppl or $1500 for a day bed for 6 ppl, including food and beverages. Does this mean we get $2500 worth of food and beverages included, and what are the usual prices on the food and drinks while there?
Also, should we book in advance?

    Thanks for any help

those prices are probably the best you'll get for the holiday weekend. I would choose a different pool personally. My preference would be the Encore Beach Club - but that will be expen$ive. You could also consider wet republic or liquid.

Best day for Bare is Saturday. Those prices sound right for MDW. Those prices would be your food and beverage minimum. Nine of you likely wouldn't have a problem reaching or even exceeding those numbers.

Wet is also a good choice but will likely be much more expensive for the same amenities on MDW.

I have been advised by people heavily involved with Liquid to stay away. Poorly run and shady pricing changes/tactics.

        Thanks for the replies guys.

We are also looking at TAO beach now for the sunday may 30th. $1000 for a day bed and $5000 for a cabana.

Which do u personally think is the better option on the sunday?

Bare seems to have the best pricing for MDW.

With a Daybed, per bare management, it seats 6 people, so other guests will be charged (usually $100 per guest).

The cost is a Food and Beverage min.

kalika will be able to get you set up

Definately get the Cabana. It seats a lot of people, you'll probably have a tv & fridge and you save somewhere to hang in the shade when you need a break from the sun & trust me you'll need a break. With a daybed, your stuck in the sun all day and your booze (bottles, beer) and mixes will get extremely warm. Nothing worse then drinking warm drinks!
Spend the extra $$$$ and get a Cabana, you won't be disappointed

FYI...you get a fridge with the daybed at Bare as long as it's in the elevated VIP area (where most of them are). You also get a big umbrella that can be used to provide shade when needed.

Personally, I like Liquid better.. It's in a nice spot in a new hotel (Aria), whereas Bare is in Mirage.. Liquid looks nicer too, and the layout is nicer imo.. there's a second pool in the cabana area as well.
I just like the layout better, it's more conducive to a good time i think..

but if it's poorly run like Universal mentioned, that is not a good thing..
