Tao or Lavo

Tao or Lavo. Vegas the weekend of June 18th to throw my boy a batchelor party. His cousin works at Venetian and said he can set up service at either Tao or Lavo. Which do you all think is better and why?

I've been to Tao and know that it can either suck cuz it's too packed, but you can find some better spots in the place to actually have a good time and not constantly get your drink spilled from people bumping you. I've never been to lavo.

Assuming his cousin can hook you up with a good table, I would defintely say Tao.

Lavo is a restaurant that converts to a lounge after dinner and is much smaller than Tao. It's hit or miss from a crowd standpoint, and when it's on, people are packed in worse than at Tao.

Plus they are really two different animals. One is a legit night club and the other is a restaurant/lounge with a DJ.

Hell just eat dinner at Lavo and then head to Tao.

thanks...got a cabana line up for ditch friday too....should be a top five trip. My luck though, we're building it up too much and something real shitty will happen.

I've also had one of those Vegas trips (not knowing about it ahead of time)....my boys called me the Red Baron for the rest of the trip.
