My trip 4/23 - 4/26

Ok, my trip is a week away but after reading this website about 4592 times in the past month I feel like I’d post my plans and then give a recap since that seems to be a popular thing here. I know I like reading all the recaps, so hopefully you enjoy both

there are 10 of us and we are staying at Mandalay Bay for a bachelor party weekend..we have a suite and a couple other regular rooms

Thu Apr 23 -

Three of us are arriving in the morning. Directly from the airport we are heading to Lee’s Discount Liquor (as recommend by Chapp) to stock the suite with booze etc. Once we check in to all the rooms the three of us are heading down to Moorea for relaxation and some day drinking..

The bachelor is arriving later that evening so we are hiring a limo to pick up the bachelor and some of the stragglers flying in late. We will all go back to the suite and get settled in.

That night, no club reservations, we'll probably head to Eye Candy at Mandalay which is nice since its no cover/no hassle lounge and got a pretty solid review on this site. lot of the guys are gonna want to play poker that night so Mandalay gives the best option for letting the group split up and do their own thing (poker or club or whatever since hey its vegas). Maybe hit up Drais late night. Never been there and not sure what is the best night there (anyone got any suggestions?)

Fri Apr 24 -

Cabana at Rio's Sapphire Pool Party hosted by Sapphire. I voted for Tao or Moorea but was majority wins in these decisions. Either way with 10 of us there it wont really matter where go...

Table at Tryst @ Wynn. Ive been there twice. I am definitely not a club person by any means but even I think this is as close to heaven as earth can get. Any table by the waterfall is probably the best spot in vegas. It’s a truly amazing place. Last time I stuck with incredible hulks for the whole night and I don’t think ill be doing that again.

Sat Apr 25 -

the walking of the strip. I feel this is a tradition that needs to be done every year. start in the middle usually ceasars and just people watch, head into casinos for random drinks, gambling etc...we did this last year and started off at margaritaville for lunch, but the walk was seriously derailed by the margaritas there..very strong, very good.

Dinner Switch @ Encore. This is the group dinner, where everyone will eat way too much, drink too much, spend too much, fight off the foood coma before heading to….

Table at XS @ Encore. Never been there, but its in Encore, its run by the group who did tryst so I have set the bar pretty high in my mind. plus there is gamblign in the club i hear. i mean WOW.

Sun Apr 26. pray I make my 4pm flight back home..

Sorry for rambling on but im pretty excited for this….im open to any suggestions for bar, clubs, pools, anything...

Only other thing Id change, is going to Margaritaville for a late breakfast. There blood marys are bad ass, and great for a hang over.

I like that you did this. i cant wait to see the end result and see if you stick to the plan or if there are some audibles which i imagine will happen. enjoy your holiday and throw some back for all of us on the forum.

I would like to offer my help for your bachelor party and placing Good reservations;
*I can offer help with Mandalay Bay options/ suggestions like; Moorea beach, Mix NightClub, or Even Places to Eat.
*I can offer help with RIO pool options and Tryst NightClub.
*I can offer help with dinner reservations at encore and tables/ VIP entry at XS NightClub.
*I can also offer help with Drais if you are going to the after hours hott spot on any day of the week. I live here. P.M. me for more info.

be sure and call them. they will gladly pick you up in a limo, and escort you through the back door, with NO cover ($30 a person). they always pick me up from which ever club Im at. AND NO Im not special, they do this for anyone that ask.

If you take a cab, you WILL pay cover. All vegas strip clubs pay the taxi drivers, to bring you to there club.

looks like a great plan, you did the right thing by backing off the friday and letting majority win with sapphire (which Im sure will be a good time) and then pulling tryst and xs out of your hat. did you plan this or was it everyone pitchin in? def deserve props....good job and have fun

ok, im a little late with the recap but i want to give a thumbs up thumbs down review for my trip

Thumbs up: Tryst
once gain this place did not dissapoint. we got there a little early since we had a large group but it got us a great table great crowd great service, patrick frank was on top of it again. table right on top of the dance floor which was awesome. great way to meet people and bring them over to the table easily. the place continues to be my favorite club in all of vegas. everyone says to try new places but i cant imgaine going to LV and not coming here.

i probably drank my weight in JD during the weekend. no better stuff. we ordered three bottles of jack and two bottles of vodka for our table at tryst and the JD was gone in about 30mins and vodka hadnt even been opened it.

words cant even describe this place. once again the patrick frank hook up was great and we had a nice cabana for the night. it was far away from the dance floor which would be my only gripe. but that place was real packed and alot of fun. we stayed in the cabana most of the time so i feel i could go back and just hang around the dance floor and have a complete different but equally as entertaining night

thumbs waaaaaay down: sapphire pool at rio
i probably should have been more adamant in moving the party to wet republic as i mentioned earlier. Sapphire was bad. the pool was practically empty. the cabana was pretty cheap looking and it was pretty terrible "party" atmosphere. granted i had a great time with my group but if we were at a better pool there would have been much more opportunity to meet some more people and do some good people watching. i hate to be negative about anything in vegas. really, i usually find the positive in everything out there but i am struggling here. maybe it wasnt the right day or the pool season hadnt picked up enough.

this was more of the pool atmosphere i was looking for. granted the $50 cover was a little steep it was a lot of fun and a had a pretty good crowd. didnt really come close to rehab or palms though in my book. bottom line is that the topless pools are not the way to go. i hear the wynn one is great but you are better off with palms or hard rock in my opinion.

i liked this place. steak was amazing and they handled our obnoxious swollen group of 13 guys rather well.

thumbs waaaaaay up: rhino limo service
i dont remember who on this board mentioned this but this service is probably the best thing to happen to vegas since well since the rhino itself. no cover, no charge for the ride. i mean thats 50 bucks right there. unbelievable. i was called a hero for the rest of the trip for this piece of knowledge. ive gotten so many phone calls about this number.

there is nothing worse than the flight home from vegas. needless to say im going back in august and my countdown has already begun

just wanted to give a thanks to this site and the people here for all the tips. this site is the best on web by far and it makes every trip out there that much more enjoyable. thanks and ill be looking for my suggestions for my next trip

and it was Dnix that pointed out the Rhino Hookup...

I was just about ready to make a thread about the Rhino hookup then i happened to stumble upon this post... The info that dnix posted is real... ive used it twice now... called and got 2 limos for 15 people, all in for free... I also did it at Sapphires and i know that OG's will do it for us too...

Maybe ill make a post for the guys that miss this one.

Spearmint Rhino is definitely the best stripclub in Vegas, but I do think Treasures is underrated. Anyone ever been? Went last time and I was pleasantly surprised.

My cousin went last weekend for a Bach party I told him about the sr limo service an instead he let the bell hop arrange a free limo to "bada bing" stripclub , what a dipshit LOL. He said badabing was absolutely horrible ! Obviously the bell hop got a kickback.

Thank goodness for the free limo service alot of the stripclubs provide; taxi drivers desperate to take you to "their favorite strip clubs" for kickbacks are a pain in the ass
