Rehab Access?

I just called to confirm my reservation... i asked about the bracelets for sunday... the lady said that we booked the rooms prior to the changes that were made for rehab, so she said that she went ahead and posted on our reservations that we are entitled to free bracelets... i have two rooms booked under my name, two under my wifes name and another under a friends name... she did it for all five rooms... i just gave her reservation numbers or name of the person that booked the room.

Clearly, if it worked for Dogeaters, all you really need to do is call and bitch.

She looked up my reservation (which was booked in January), and said I didn't qualify. She said cover starts at $40 for women, $75 for men, and goes up from there throughout the day.

I'm still gonna raise some hell. I don't even want to go to Rehab, it's the principle of the matter at this fucking point. You never get anywhere with kindness over the phone. NYC practically told HR we would gang rape them until they gave us a lower group rate.

And we ended up gang raping them via Twitter. If the policy doesn't state otherwise, they're just trying to take us all for fools. Fuck that shit, raise hell.


ALSO! I remember speaking to the manager of the reservations department and she said her people do not control that stuff. It's all front desk and check-in, so maybe it depends on the department you're talking to?

Ha! It's totally becoming a matter of principle. I have no desire whatsoever to go to Rehab, but I'm too stubborn to let this slide. I'm currently scouring their website to see what "policies" I can find.

I was just told by a girl at hotel reservations that my room rate of $77 didn't qualify for free passes to Rehab on a Sunday and that it would be $50 per male extra to be paid at the entrance to rehab??????

+1... I also called and received the same message. They told me that it would be "at least $50 per male extra (depending on what time I arrived)" but that I would be allowed to use the "hotel guest" line-up....

I cancelled my room.

I feel the same way. I'll probably end up going to Bare, but it's the principle of the matter. I am booked at their hotel for a deal THEY offered and now there are policy changes as the date draws closer.

I bitched my way to the top methinks, and after I mentioned their prior lack of clarity with their Twitter deal policies (ie the cancel policy) and the fact some people were canceling their rooms, she seemed willing to accommodate.

what everyone can do is this: Go and stay at the Hard Rock, upon check in ask them for the bracelets to get into Rehab on Sunday and they will deny you. What we do then is real simple, every person who pays for a room will sue the morgans hotel group (approximately 60 lawsuits) in small claims court in jusridictions across the country for the small claim maximum (back east we call it "breaking balls"), which will send the hotel into a tizzy, due to the fact that in most jurisdictions corporations MUST be represented by an attorney ( at the very least they will incur steep legal bills). And as for the members that fall under the "protected class" umbrella you even have the option of a federal suit based on the claims of racism and discrimination, "the hotel did not let you into rehab because you are (fill in the blank....)". at the very least this post may get them scurrying to amend their policies and procedures by thursday so they can protect themselves. There is no doubt in my mind that they are carefully monitoring this site.

So! Update again...

I now have a meeting arranged with the manager's manager tomorrow evening. It seems like they are willing to work with our large group, especially after I told them how large we are in number, we have an arrangement with Vanity AND that people are canceling and taking their business elsewhere.

I said we we part of Exodus. Bahahah, make those fuckers look bad

Seems like they are willing to work with us, even if it's a discounted rate at Rehab or to reinstate our wristbands that are affiliated with our group. But, if nothing comes out of it we have Bare.

Plus, I'll then be an actual guest upon said discussion, hopefully that works in my favor. NYC, I need you on speed dial hahahah.
