May 5th- We landed in Las Vegas at about 11pm and went to go get our car at Fox rent a car. We had reserved a Chrysler 300 but for some reason they gave them all out so Leo coughed up $50.00 to get the Camero. The guy that drove us to the car rental place told us South Point had three dollar steak and eggs after midnight so we went and checked it out. Had the steak and eggs and gambled a little bit then off to our hotel The Flamingo. Checked it no line at all they didn’t have the king bed I requested just two queens but we had a great view of the strip and Bellagio fountains so I was happy. We went to bed for the night.
May 6th- We woke up at 8:30am as we had to be down stairs at 9:00am to get picked up to go to SunBuggy rentals to go ride the dune buggies. The dune buggies were awesome and everyone who worked there was very nice. We got back to our hotel at about 1:30pm and headed to Margaritaville for some lunch. Sat out on the patio and had some lunch and drinks. We were both tired so we laid down for a two hour nap. Got up around 4:00 and headed out to walk the strip. We stopped at Rock House and got some 32 oz frozen drinks with the extra shot and went on walking. Went in a few casinos but mostly just walked down the strip and back to our hotel and found a Bank of America atm so I wouldn’t have to pay tons of atm fees. Went back and got the car and headed to Fremont Street. Got there at about 8:15 parked and wondered around for a little bit looking at everything, gambled a little bit and watched the light show at 9:00 then left to go to Harrah’s to get dinner and drinks at Toby’s I Love This Bar. We go there and they had already stopped serving food so we walked around Harrah’s for a little bit trying to find something to eat but everything seemed to be closed up for the night so we left and decided to grab something on the way to Stoney’s (County & Western nightclub). We ended up just grabbing some food from Del Taco. Can’t complain for how cheap it was. Got to Stoney’s and the line was pretty long so we got in it and waited. Got in and the place was packed. It was ladies night and ladies got dollar drink all night long. Loved this place!!! They had a mechanical bull and played a good mix of country, hip hop, and top 40’s music. Got pretty drunk here and had a ton of fun. Leo wouldn’t dance with me so I went out to dance by myself and got sandwich by two lesbian girls. I just went with it and danced with them lol. I loved watching the couples two step and the line dancing. We left there at about 3:00am or so to head back to the hotel. Not sure what time we went to bed at. I think it was like 4:00am.
May 7th- I got up at 10:00am let him sleep well I went down and gambled some. I put a $20.00 in the dollar slot and it took it from me so I moved on to a penny slot lol. Put $20.00 in a played for like an hour. Loved that machine! In the end I only left up $3.00 but I loved that I got to play forever. I had ordered a cake for our Anniversary so I went and got that from the delivery lady and headed back up to the room. We got ready to head to the Palms for Ditch and headed out. We over to Earl of Sandwich for some lunch then off to the Palms. Bought the front of the line passes for Ditch as it was opening day and when we got there we went right in. We got there at about 2:00pm and it was packed. Took us over 30 mins to get our first drink! We went to a different bar after that and had no problems. Loved it here watching all the crazy drunk people, too funny. Sean Paul performed. It was decent and he sung for a while. Had a good day here. Danced drank and enjoyed the nice weather. I do have to say I think I like daylife better then nightlife. Mayweather showed up and they put him in a cabana. He was really nice to all of his fans. We left the Palms at about 5:00pm and head back to the hotel for a two hour nap. Went to sleep at 6:00 got up at 8:00 and got ready to go out for the night. Headed back to the Palms to meet a friend that moved out to Vegas a couple years ago and the girl he is seeing. Grabbed so food in the food court and headed up to Playboy club. It was nice in there loved the view and enjoyed watching people gamble such high amounts. One guy threw $100.00 and roulette and gone just like that! Had a drink here then headed down to rain. There was a NKOTB concert that night so the line waiting to get into Rain was crazy!! Had the bracelets so got right in. I thought Rain was alright. Z-trip played alright music but never seemed to leave a song on for long enough. The fire was cool but out of all the places I think I had the least fun in Rain that night. We stayed here for about two drinks and moved on to Ghost Bar. Leo had ordered a Grateful Dead and brought as he thought he could bring it up to Ghost Bar but nope they made him down it to go up lol. I really like Ghost Bar. Very nice up there, good music and places to sit and rest my feet. Also like the hole in the deck that lets you look down. Stayed here for one drink and moved on to Moon. Moon was my favorite. Great music, loved the view and the litte terrace on the second floor and they opened up the roof and kept it opened for most of the time we were there. Had a few drinks here, danced quite a bit and looked out over the strip and took some pictures. It was about 2:00am and Leo was tired and wanted to head back to the hotel. We had been out since 9:00pm so I said fine and we headed back. Ended up going to get $2.00 burger and fries and gambling a little bit. Got to bed at about 3:30am.
May 8th- I think we got up at about 10:00am and Leo wanted to go check out a motorcycle store to see if he could find a new racing suit as we have no stores at home that carry the actual suits. We found a place like 10 mins away and went over there so he could try on some suits. He found one that fit and he liked so he got it and now we needed to figure out how we were going to get it home lol. We left there and went over to City Center to get brunch at Aria. The buffet was really good and we ate a ton !! Liked City Center! Was really nice in there! Went back to the hotel and decided to hang out for a little bit by the pool. There was a lot of people and a DJ. Saw some people go to leave so we grabbed there chairs and laid out and drank for about an hour or two. Took a dip in the hot tub and went back up to the room to change to head to the Strat to ride the rides. We did the two rides that stick you out over the side of the building. Loved them but they scared the shit out of me!! Watched someone jump from the building and screw that!!! No way!!! Went back to the hotel for a three hour nap today! Got up and got ready to head out to Vanity at about 11:00pm. We did guest list here so only waited about 10 minutes. Loved Vanity! Had the most fun this night! This place had the most expensive drinks but I didn’t care lol. Meet a lot of people here and everyone was really nice. There was some guy who had a table that kept throwing handfuls of dollars bill all over the place. Picked up about $30.00+ dollars. He pulled me up into his booth and I decided to tell him he is better then to throw money at all these people. He said he was just having fun and started telling me his life story and showing me pics of his kids and told me he was married for 5 years. He ended up being a nice guy, but then he wanted to meet Leo and know how long we were together. I guess I made a new friend lol. Made lots of one night friends that night and had an awesome time. At about 4:00am we realized what time it was and left because we were driving to the Grand Canyon the next day. We went back to the hotel had $2.00 burger and fries again. I was drunk and felt the need to hi-five people walking down the hallway but hey they all seemed into lol. We gambled some of that money we picked up and went to bed. (Hey too the ladies I bought those roll up shoes. Loved them! Used them every night we went out)
May 9th- This was the end of the drunkenness. Very hard to get out of bed this morning. Got up at 8:30am and took a shower still drunk and went back to bed til 10:30am. Packed checked out and hit the road for Oatman (little old western town on route 66) then the Grand Canyon. Took about 2 hours and 30 minutes to get to Oatman. In the middle of nowhere up and down some curvy mountain roads where one wrong turn you are off the edge lol. The ride there reminded me of something out of a scary movie like Wrong turn lol. Got there and it was worth the drive. Cute little old western town. Looked like something out of a movie!! Wild burros wondering the town and they sell carrots in the stores for you to feed to them. Walked around , fed the burros, ate lunch at the Oatman hotel (where there are dollars bills stapled all over the walls) and left to head to the Grand Canyon. We got to the Grand Canyon at about 6:30pm and checked in to our Cabin. We were exhausted so we just took a short walk to the rim at dinner and went to bed at 8:00pm.
May 10th- I woke up at 5am to go catch the sunrise. Leo stayed in bed. It was freezing. Stayed out there for about 45 minutes and came back in around 6:00am and went back to sleep. We both got up around 8:30am took showers and headed out to hike the Bright Angel Trail. Hike it for about an hour and caught the bus to check out other parts of the Canyon. At about 1:00pm we hit the road to go back to Vegas. Five hours later we were back in Vegas. Stopped at Walmart to buy a carry on so we could bring his dam motorcycle suit back and then went to NYNY to grab some dinner and gamble our last $7.00 we had in cash. Lost it of course lol. Returned the rent a car at 9:00pm and off to the air port to go home
