I just posted this in the twitter deals thread, but I figured I'd get it out there so everyone might see it.

One of my friends from my recent trip noticed we were all charged $16.80 (give or take a dollar) for the "resort fee". Our email confirmation says $7.00/day plus taxes. (I can't imagine they're charging over 100% in taxes). When I called, the accounting department was closed already, but my friend said if you still have that confirmation email, they'll credit your card.

Just an FYI for Mayvasion. I know it's not a ton of money, but hey, $10 a day can add up.

So wait, they charged the $16 for every night that's on the reservation? So you recommend we bring the printout of the confirmation email?
