We booked two rooms at Mirage for 3 ppl each room, but ended up having 4 in each room. Yes I'm a cheap ass and don't feel like changing it. Will this cause any problems when it comes to going to the pool?? I heard they check room keys. Just to look at or number of people?
Extra people in rooms...

Shouldn't be an issue getting a 4th key while you are at the hotel. Never encountered a problem getting extra keys in the past. If you don't want to risk them charging you, just stick with your 3. They aren't that strick on pools imo and if anything you can have 3 go in, have a guy walk out with 2 keys, and give one to the 4th to walk in.Originally posted by monurse05 View PostWe booked two rooms at Mirage for 3 ppl each room, but ended up having 4 in each room. I would change it to two people a room and save money. I have never had an issue. Ask for three keys up front... I have told the front desk I hand them out to girls. Then go to someone else at the front desk an hour later and ask for another key... say you lost it. They could care less. Even toss them $5 and say thanks. At the pool... as long as you flash them one room key you are fine.Originally posted by monurse05 View PostWe booked two rooms at Mirage for 3 ppl each room, but ended up having 4 in each room. Yea exactly bro...dont ever put more than 2 people on a 1 room rezy. There's no point in paying the extra when they REALLY don't give a fuck.Originally posted by kimball View PostI would change it to two people a room and save money. I have never had an issue. Hey guys, first time poster, long time lurker.
I'm going to Vegas next week and was wondering about something along the same lines. We are going to have one more person than we thought staying with us. Should he not be around when we check in to avoid an extra fee on the room, or will they really just not care?

I would tell them to hang back. Just have the person who booked everything check in and handle it. No need to push it. But you'll be fine after that.Originally posted by PDXdev View PostHey guys, first time poster, long time lurker.

The extra people don't need to sneak around the place and what not, but you also don't want to have them think you're trying to get over on them right off the bat all blatantly.-WarreN aka "The Business"

That's a good point... they were doing that last may when I stayed there. But it was only later in the night... like after 11 or something like that. Get an extra key or stick with someone in your room that has the key.Originally posted by IndyColtsGal View PostWay back in 2003 Mirage was checking for hotel keys to even get up the elevators.
