    Folks,

Some friends and I are starting up a beer blog up here and, when I'm down for the invasion in a couple of weeks, I'm looking for some good microbreweries/brew pubs to check out. If I don't come back with something good I might be out of the family. I'm aware of Gordon Biersch, but outside of that, any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Ah, a man after my own heart. Here's a list of Vegas brewpubs:

I haven't been to any of them, so I can't vouch for or against them.
The only winning move is not to play.

The Brew Pub at the Monte Carlo is pretty damn good. They've got two different locations.. (and perhaps they are different companies) but, I enjoy it.... good beer in a not so crowded location.

I chilled at the Sin City Brew Pub in the Venetian for a couple...nothing to write home about. I think I drank at more mixology-type lounges than anything. I am firmly addicted to rhumbar in the Mirage. They make some great shit!!

Ah if only I'd seen this sooner. I haven't visited any of these but I have looked them up in preparation for my own trip. The Big Dog's Brewing Co. sounds great. A couple of their beers are award winning (I know whose aren't?). They still sounded great and I think we might check this place out.

I'm also glad you liked the Rhumbar because that place sounds awesome to me. I might just drink them straight out of supplies for The Old Cuban.

I totally forgot to take a couple of the local SD brews...Stone, ballast point, Coronado brewing, there's alot of micro breweries out here. I'll be more prepared for the next invasion!!
