Need help to determine how much to tip the Host

Need some help in this department. I am never to sure how much you should tip the host? Could people share their experience and what place they tipped and what did they get as a result of tipping.

It should depend on service. Everything is already overpriced so you may end up leaving between 10-15% rather than 15-20%
