  • Regular Pool Scene vs Pool Party Scene

I've been to LV half a dozen times over the years, the last being a good 7 years ago at the Palms. I don't recall there being anything other than a generic daytime pool scene. Can I assume that these pool scene updates on places like Liquid, Tao Beach, Wet Republic, Ditch, etc, are all for daytime pool clubs where there is a traditional cover charge and table with bottle service option. Basically the same as nighttime clubs? Have these daytime clubs taken all the action away from the regular pool scene?

What are the "regular" pools like during the day? We're coming down with a large stag group (20 guys) in June and the logistics for managing the itinerary is getting too much. Hard enough to manage the nights without taking on the days too. We're staying at ARIA. I know we can rent a cabana down at the pool there for a flat fee, then whatever F&B on top. Assuming this will be good for daytime recovery, but there'll be enough dudes to look at already wihout being the only guys around the pool.

Any insights would be appreciated. If I need to take on more logistics I will. If I can avoid it, I'll happily do that.

the main appeal to a pool party vs the hotel pool is the customer base. at a hotel pool you have all ages, shapes, and sizes. at a pool party its more defined. its the same difference between a nightclub vs a hotel bar.
