Planning a spur of the moment weekend trip to Vegas (May 14-17) and thinking about surprising the fiance with tickets to Kenny Chesney at the Joint in the Hard Rock. I have never been to this venue for a show before. I am looking at general admission tickets on the floor, and I was curious as to what the view would be like from the floor and what the overall experience would be like. Anyone ever been to a show at the Joint? Tickets for actual seats are $300+, so I its probaly GA or nothing.

I went to the Incubus show there last July shortly after the new Joint opened. I've been to a lot of concerts in my lifetime and this one was on my top 5 because the venue was so awesome! I mean, it sounds terrific! And about the view of the stage, the way it is set up is either balcony/VIP or GA, and they have stadium type standing room (if that makes sense) separated by bars so nobody gets too squished together. They really did a good job setting it up. So if that is your reason, I say definitely go for it.Karen

I've been in GA for boxing at the Joint and if u get in the first row of the general admission, ur view will be cool. if i remember correctly, the last two rows of GA have the balcony above them and feels more confined, but ull still be able to see everything cuz each row is elevated....standing room only for that like kdiamond saidComment
