Prive likely to be shutting down officially.

I'll hear more about the official news later today, but the word coming from inside Prive right now is that they are officially shutting down due to lease agreement issues with Harrahs.

This aligns with the common knowledge that Harrah's wanted them out, and with what other media outlets are reporting about them being severely behind in rent payments.

They dodged the bullet last summer, but this one sounds like it will be the final blow.

Damn, that sucks...I never actually got to go to Prive because they were closed last time I was in Vegas too :/

Oh well...plenty of debauchery to be had other places. Besides, my understanding is that Prive never really got "back into the groove" after closing the first time. Confirm/Deny?

meh, i don't know, i kinda liked Prive but at the same time it was a major pain in the ass to go there sometimes. too bad though, they always used to have really great guest DJs.

Anyone know whatever happened with Poetry reopening? Those of us that are strictly hip hop have so few options these days....they need to do better, seriously

Yea, it's official now. They don't know yet exactly when the doors will close, but we went ahead and pulled the party that was scheduled for the 26th of this month.

Prive was great back in 2008-2009ish - had some great times there... Logan was an awesome host, was he moved out when they had that temporary closing / clean house a couple months back?

Anyhow, it's a space that will definitely be missed.
