A few Vegas Newbie questions

I'm going to Vegas for the first time this weekend from April 9 thru 12 with 7 other girls and the planning has fallen on me. I've studied this site pretty well over the last few weeks, but I still have a few questions.

1. What is the benefit of getting on the guest list at a club?

2. If I book a table/bottle service, how is payment taken care of? Does it all go on one person's credit card?

3. What is the best way to avoid waiting on line for a long time (other than table/bottle service)?

4. Any info on XS? There's no review on the site for this club.

I can only post from my experience (1 week vegas trip last year) but getting on the GL will help in either comped entrance or bypassing the line or both but it depends on the club and how packed they are. If you can get on the list with the hosts provided on this site and get to the club early if you are trying to avoid dropping cash to get in. Table service gets you in comped and bypasses the line but its gonna cost you. If you are a large group of girls then I wouldnt worry about getting in too much.

Table service is reserved thru the hosts and is not paid til you actually order. No prepaid reservations. You typically get one bill so make sure the girls bring cash to pay at the end or you may have to split on cc but thats a pain.

Best way to get in quick is GL and early arrival. But in your case it shouldnt be to tough.

Thank you so much for your reply! It's really helpful. I'm definitely at an advantage being in a group with 8 girls. My only concern is just having to wait on line for a long time in my ridiculous stilettos and losing my pre-game buzz.

I saw the thread about Hef's birthday. That looks pretty awesome actually. I was thinking about going to Tao, but after reading through the forums about the crowds I'd rather go elsewhere. I guess I just have to figure out where we're going so I can contact some hosts about getting on a GL. Would it be wise to just get on a couple of GL's for one night, in case we change our mind about a club? I just want to make sure I'm not committing some Vegas faux pas by not showing up if I'm on a GL (though I don't see why that would be a problem).
