Yet another XS question and table service.

Sorry for yet another thread about XS. I stumbled on this site months ago and tried to get as much information as I could. Here is my story:

I'm trying to get a table at XS on the Sat night 5/29 of Memorial Day weekend. The ratio will be 10 girls/women and 1 guy. I called way back in Feb to see how early I could try to book a table and they told me they only go up to 30 days in advance.

I thought I was ok, then UFC announced one of their fights on that same weekend. Now I start to panic because if the big stars show up, I can't compete with their bankrolls. Then I start reading the PF thread and now I'm not sure what to do.

Clearly I can't use PF. What about a host that Dnix had mentioned in a thread back in March. Should I use him instead? With the management issues JC has found, do I scrap the whole deal and go somewhere else?

And since its going to be a holiday weekend how much more expensive is it going to get? Besides the min $450 a bottle/3 people will I have to front a crazy $$ "handshake" to get a decent table inside? Do I bite the bullet and pay even more cash for a VIP service?

This is a 21st birthday celebration and we've been trying to plan this for 9 months. I really want this to go well and I cringe to think of us bumped or denied at the door for this night.

Any ideas?

If you are feeling this nervous and you don't even have a proper host contact which you feel you can trust I would suggest trying somewhere else! Maybe one of the pool parties in the day, and then a club like Vanity instead, if you are going with 10 girls surly it would be more fun to have them by the pool drinking champagne in a private cabana semi naked? Plus the DJ line ups ive seen for Wet Republic for that wknd look quite simply amazing!

to be fair, the host that everyone recommends at vanity has asked for $500 handshakes too, but the members happily paid it, and just mentioned it in their TR, instead of writing a complaint thread. Im not defending PF, as I dont even use him myself, just stating that just because you read some complaints on the most popular club in Vegas, doesnt mean the same thing has doesn/hasnt occurred at the other clubs.

to the OP: Ive personally used Ryan, and have always had good reports from anyone who I recommended to him. Whoever you use, after they give you a quote, just be honest with them, and tell them what youve heard and what your concerns are.

Doh! So not only do they push up to 2 bottles/person but they go to $550 a bottle?! I guess its good to be the king huh?
