Maybe this has been posted somewhere else but I did a search and couldn't find anything....
I was just reading someone else's post about $1 margaritas???
Sounds like my kind of deal...any other great deals on the strip for good happy hours...or drink specials...I think i read about a 3for1 happy hour too??

Roguer, I find that people who play craps often leave their drinks on the rail under the table when they leave. If you're not fussy what you drink I reccommend you look there.

Or go to the sportsbook and fish a few used horse race tickets out of the trash. When the waitress comes by to ask for drinks just wave the tickets at her so she thinks you've got action. Tell her what you want and give her a $20 tip. She'll be back all day

You can check out spyonvegas.com, they usually have a hosted bar for like 3 hours most days of the week, not weekends tho.

also if you look hard enough, you can find happy hour specials at certain bars clubs

like last year when i went
we had 1/2 drinks at V-bar, ladies drink free 9-10 at mist, etc.
also i think theres really cheap beers and maragritas like casino royale...

Drink Specials

Casino Royale has $1 Michelob Bottles and $1 Frozen Margaritas at the Casino Bar. The Margaritas aren't stellar, but they do the trick, and if you're a beer drinker, about $8 worth of Michelob and they don't taste as nasty anymore.

He's right. My group used to do this for a buzz. Hit up some cheap slot machines and feed it like 5 bucks. Just make sure you're in a high waitress traffic area. The keep bringing you drinks as long as you play and tip. So if you bet the minimum at the machine, you can be there for a while. Just keep ordering drinks after she brings you the first.

As long as you tip her at least a dollar or two, you'll be good.

We came across $1 Margaritas/$1 draft beers at Harrahs. There's also a stand next to the Flamingo. Outside of Imperial at Rockhouse they had 2for$6 budlight/michelob. Margaritaville was also pretty cheap for a landshark, no more than $5. Our bartender at Kahunaville explained to us that the $25 BIG drink was 4 drinks in one, so worth it.

Personal advice: if you're drinking beer, go cheap. You aren't enjoying the hops, you're trying to get crunk. If you're drinking mixed drinks/fruity crap/slushees upgrade for the nicer booze or you will be HURTING later.

I would also suggest looking through the guide books in the taxis. That's where we found the Rio Jameson/carbomb specials. It's Vegas, BE ALERT!
