Young Crowd

I agree that all hotels have a young crowd/vibe instead of Mandalay and Bellagio (personally). I say stick with a hotel that has one of the clubs or pool parties you want. This way you just have to go downstairs and not worry about cabbing it. I just got back from TI, it had a young crowd but trashy/jersey shore type vibe...never again! But it was nice for going to the Venetian, Mirage, and Wynn at night.

that's what i wanna avoid! lol. i seriously do not wanna be around jersey short/ed hardy types of people.

Las Vegas IS jersey shore/ Ed Hardy type's lol....but I know what you mean. I think PH is good but they just dont have as good of a pool IMO.

almost everytime I've been to LV I've stayed at the Palms or Palm's Place and it has never treated me wrong. Ditch Fridays is hot...and Rain, Playboy, and Moon have gotten better cuz they have some headliner dj's now...Tuesday at Moon is spose to be hot and I think your dates show you in town that night.

As for the on-strip/off-strip argument...The Strip is over rated. See it once and that's enough. If you are at a truly hot hotel you won't want to leave anyway...accept to go to a club at night. Stay at Palms or the Hard Rock and grab a cab to the strip one day to see the sights...that should fulfill that need...then spend the rest of your time partying like you should be.
