Some buddies and I are heading out to Vegas April 16-19 and noticed that both hotel rates and flights were up in price -- are there things going on that we don't know about or is it just a popular time of the year?

I was planning on hitting town the weekend as well but pushed my trip back until May. There's some kind of broadcasters convention going on that week. That's why some hotel rates are at their highest for the entire month of April.

AND its spring break that week alot of schools are out that week for easter and passover....the strip will be dimming the lights for me that weekend because it was the weekend I was supposed to be out there for a bachelor party which is now set in NYC
