  • Question for the Forum. Need advice!

Is it okay to take something from a six year old?

Here is the story, a friend of a friends cousin let me baby sit this 6yr old kid. He was pretty smart for his age and I made him some fair bets on 7 NBA games. I let him pick them and I would take the opposite side. He said he could beat me and bet me his xbox360 and if I lost I had to get him the Wi.

Well I won as I went 4-3. I took his xbox360 and I'm using it right now. I love it. His father calls me today and demands it back. I told him to fuck off that his Son made a bet and lost. The dad said I took advantage of him, how? I let him pick the games first and anyone can win major league games. All the lines were from the MGM Grand sportsbook so it was fair.

I tried to tell the father that this is a good lesson for the kid. He kept saying my Son is crying because he does not have his game. I am keeping the game and basically told the father to stay away from me or I will bury him. I think I scared him.

I want to keep the game, what do you guys think? I'll respect all opinions except for Blibber. He's always trying to ruin my fun.

Are you planning on going dual monitor and gaming while watching movies in the background. Sounds like a good idea, but that is what I use the TV for.
      wtf?

Anyway, to answer your question, no its not OK.

I think you're trolling though, but im bored so i'll answer. A better question is why would a friend of a friends cousin let you babysit for them? They need to question their parenting.

KC, I feel the same way. That kid will thank me when he's older.

Warren. I babysit frequently around here. I only require a 6 pack, some vanilla flavor mini-cigars and a fresh pie from Papa Johns.

Kori, good point. That little rat! He should have just told his dad he sold it to pay his gambling debt. I'm sure his father would have been proud of him for settling up.
