Great, that's what I will do. Make sure we are all there early and toss some money for the main room. Thanks for the feedback. Did everything go smooth getting in / working with the host?

      Pure

i went to pure once and got a table for 400. we were in the main room right buy the dance floor. it was awsome and the service was great. there were only 2 of us but we got the table all night. we got wasted and after that it was even better. i heard the rumors and stories about pure but my experience was nothing like what i heard.

whats the point of tipping the host? they are already getting money for booking the table. No need to pay the extra $100 on top of a $400 bottle plus tax plus gratuity.

I think tipping the host is mainly about getting a good table location. Obviously tipping the host is voluntary and you don't have to, but I think it will get you a better table and perhaps a better service during the night.

I don't mind tipping for the table I want and to say thanks. Also, If you are booking and using the name of this website, I think you should tip to maintain a good relationship for all members.

Thanks for all the feedback Mike... I was not pumped about PURE at first... but I'm really looking forward to it now. We got a fair deal for the holiday weekend, should be a great time.

Hey do you let them know about the tip ahead of time in order to get a better table location? Otherwise how would they know when picking out a table for you?

The issue with tipping hosts is tricky b/c the majority of people get to Vegas once a year, twice if you're lucky. Unless you know the club layout well how do you know if you're truly getting a good table, or an "upgraded" table due to the fact that you tipped?

there are a lot of threads on here about table location. everyone should be well informed. I honestly wouldnt tip BIG for a better table, unless you have a specific location in mind.

Sure do, but its not expected. Cab drivers too. The people I mentioned are expecting a tip. Its part of the reason they took the job. If I dont wanna tip, then I go somewhere its not expected. But hey, Im all for everyone else not tipping. It just insures I get better service and priority.

Ya know, you dont have to use a host at most clubs. You can book online or call the club direct.

Can you tell me how much money the host gets for booking a table? Do you really know or are you just assuming?
