PH Towers

A friend of mine got free suite at the PH Towers (Planet Hollywood) for 4/16-4/18. I may go as well for a night. The rooms look pretty sweet, but I have never been there. Does anyone know how good the hotel is or the pool scene is?

I've only walked through it. The hotel is pretty cool in a "hollywood hip" (as they call it) sort of way. I couldn't get a good feel for the pool myself from their website, but I think I recall someone on this forum saying it's pretty rockin'. The mall in the lower area of the hotel is big with a lot of stores like H&M, Ben Sherman and Urban Outfitters.

I like the new tower rooms better than the regular rooms. They are bigger, nicer, bigger windows, dishwasher, microwave, dishes, small fridge, etc. The downstairs is the miracle mile, so you'll have to walk thru it to get to the casino, but it's a really quick walk. Not as busy as the regular PH side. There's a pool for the new towers which looked nice from what I can tell, but this was winter so no people yet. This last trip the regular PH pool I heard was busy.

I'm just now realizing that we're talking about 2 different places! You guys are talking about the new tower right? Forgot all about it; I think it was under construction my last trip.

The PH towers are awesome. Had a 1200 sf. 2 bedroom suite with a 100 inch dropdown projection screen in front of window, View of Bellagio fountains. perfect for March Madness. Full kitchen also comes in handy

Yeah we stayed at the PH tower Westgate this weekend, I believe we were in the King suite? It also had that drop down projector/view of Bellagio. The room was unbelievably sweet.

Although for some reason alot of the hotel smelled like sewage. We had to have the engineers come look at our second room (king suite was sick, but the adjoining room smelled awful). I think something was wrong with the drainage. Smelled it in the lobby too, so something big must have been up.

They offered to switch our rooms, but at that point it wasnt worth the effort since we pretty much already trashed the place...
