  • 2 bedroom suites?

Has anyone stayed in a 2 bedroom suite around center strip? I'm browsing on many of the big hotel's websites to get a fair idea of price and availability for a 3 day weekend in June, but I'm not having much luck. Caesars and Mirage want you to call. MGM shows them on the website but may be the same way. I want to know whats what before I would call; I don't know that I can actually go then anyway.

Are there any other hotels to that have them?

The signiture has 2BR and it's not to far off the strip plus it's not that expensive either maybe you could check that out?

I've discovered that the PH Towers has them, and at a fair price too. It costs $1200-1300 for a 3 day weekend in June.

We stayed at the Bellagio in a Bellagio Suite with an adjoining room added on. I'm not sure if the person who made the reservations called or went online for that one, and I don't know what it cost bc it was all paid for but it's worth looking into. We had a lake view, and the rooms were nice.
          Epic trip was epic.

the marriott grand chateau on the strip has two bedroom condos/hotels. it's right next to planet hollywood. In terms of location, it's better than the signature.. at least it's in 2 minute walking distance of the strip.

the sig definitely has more appeal though.

I think it might work out better to just get adjoining rooms on a strip hotel..

a lot of times when they say 2 bedrooms, it's not actually two bedrooms each with its own separate door.. it's one bedroom with its own door, and the main area is the second bedroom. hope that makes sense.

Stayed in a 2 Bedroom Hospitality Suite at the Mirage. Its roughly 1800 sq ft. 2 queen beds in one room, king bed in the other. Flat screens everywhere and I-pod docks. Huge bathrooms. Bar and dining room area. Really nice suite for the money, as it was around $400 per night for a Friday-Saturday last July. It's definitely worth the call (you can't book them online). Just google "2 Bedroom Hospitality Suite at the Mirage" and you can find some good info not on their website. I recommend it highly b/c its so cheap, in the middle of the strip, great pool scene, decent restaurants, good vibe, etc.

High end MGM Skylofts $2,000 a night but you can get 3-4 people in there.

Low end Palms Tower half the price. Where you gonna hang? That is a bigger question.

I've been staying at Imperial Palace's 2 bedroom penthouse lately cuz of the size, location, and price.
it's obviously older than other hotels, but for my purposes the space is what i care about. it lacks modern amenities like flatscreens and stuff like that though - its old. its also got a sizeable balcony, which is not offered everywhere. each time ive stayed its been roughly $200 - $250 a night. i think it's 1350 sq ft, two separate rooms.....not adjoining or "add-ons". just letting ya know. there is a virtual tour on their site.

wow, that is cheap at the IP! i'll tell you, i really loved their car museum (i'm a car nut), but all the smoke smell walking through the casino gave me a hard time breathing. i'm going to check out the virtual tour on the website though.

The Signature at MGM and Planet Hollywood Westgate Tower sit a bit off the strip on Harmon. It's not at all a bad walk (and in PH's case, you can walk entirely indoors to to the strip, you can at MGM, too, but it's out of the way) but it is a walk. Moreso than you'd normally get from a traditional hotel room.

Unless I get a super deal on a nice hotel property, I default to staying at the Signature. Their 2BR's are actually a 1BR with an adjoining studio. You end up getting 2 king beds and 2 pull out queen sofa beds, 3 bathrooms (2 huge bathrooms with separate showers and jacuzzi tubs and one smaller bathroom with just a shower), a full kitchen and a mini kitchen, and a really nice balcony. Getting to the MGM is easy because it's mostly serviced by people movers or you can exit the properties and go directly outside and walk to Harman. The Signature entrance into the MGM is also pretty close to the monorail, so you can always do that too and cabs are generally available right outside the Signature. And you get access to the 2 pools at the Signature (a little more relaxed/quieter) or to the full pool facility at MGM.

I want to say you can usually get a 1BR for around $150-170 and the suite for around $80-110. So add the two together and you get your per night price for a "2BR". Book with an owner through VRBO.com to really get the savings.

                        Okay, I'm done selling now.
