This is really a question for Jack, but I thought better to post than to PM him...

Do you still have your table at Tao every Thursday and/or still able to get forum folks in on a Thurs night? When we go back in June, is a bunch a guys, and we had problems getting into Tao when we were over in 2008, so if we had an easier way of getting in then it'd be most appreciated!

There'll be a long island ice tea in it for you!

I do the tables occasionally, but by and large I cancelled most of them. Way too much drinking, haha.

Why not try doing the dinner trick? You go in for dinner a little earlier, and before leaving ask to get stamped for the club. Then you can return without having any trouble getting in. Or split up and go in as groups, or grab girls off the line and try your luck that way. It's never as hard as you think.

To be honest, of all the clubs we tried in 08, Tao was the only one that gave us any problems, with cries of $1000 from the bouncers to get us in. I'm sure if we tried harder, or spoke to another bouncer, we'd have got in, but we just left and went to The Bank instead. I fancy trying Tao this time, though.

          Tao

Out of all the places I've been to in Vegas over the past 12 years, I have found that security and the hosts at Tao to be the worst and rudest. Service sucks and I would never go there ever again. Further, the place gets too packed and you really can't enjoy yourself.

I would rather hang out Binions and hit on the elder statesman cocktail girls than stand foot at Tao. There are many other places I'd rather go than Tao. The restaurant is horrible, as well. I am not sure why people have this sick fascination of waiting or getting hustled at a place by host/security like Tao, and still want to go and party there.

Yes - I think there's always that one club that alienates a person. Tao is it for me. Personally, I think it is overrated. Regarding the restaurant, it amazes me how crappy the sushi is there, but people still go there. I've never had problems anywhere else but Tao. Having said that, if you like asian girls, this is the place for you to go to.

I had a blast at Tao when I was there. Sure it was crowded, but so was XS when I went the first time. Tao had great music and the vibe was really good. Of course, I didn't have a great time at Moon and a lot of people like that place, so I understand where you're coming from. Experiences vary, but Tao for me is a favorite.

Tao is one of my favorites too. The main dance floor does get pretty crowded though, but I just dance elsewhere along the bars/walkways etc.

You guys could also get a table... I know a bit pricey, but the bottles do start off a little cheaper than the other clubs (350 per vs 450 per)

5 minutes after I got into the club last time I was there a bouncer came up to my table and said "I hope you guys like Asian girls!" Man was he right, and really really beautiful ones at that.
