    Hi Guys,

Me and three mates are making the trip to Vegas 23rd June for four nights.

We are all from Scotland and are looking forward to the trip to say the least.

    Couple of questions.

    1. We are thinking of bringing kilts. What do you think the chances of getting into clubs would be wearing kilts?

    2. Although we are scottish and scottish people have a terrible reputation for tipping, we would like to do it right when we come to vegas. Now I know the tipping thing has been done to death and the info on the site and the forums has been very helpful, but one thing I'm not sure of. If we use a VIP host company to organise our table service, we obviously tip them. How much is that approximately? And then I assume a host from the club itself will walk us to our table? And if so do we then tip them as well? And how much? confused.com.

    3. We have booked 2 rooms at the wynn. One for two people and one for one person. But there are going to be four of us. Will we need to let the wynn know/pay extra for the fourth guy to share the second room?

    Thanks in advance.....

not sure about the kilts as I am a tutu man myself. As for the table services just use a direct host from the club you want to go to, eliminate any and all headaches from using the independents, and youll only have to worry about tipping one person
as for the hotel, you wont need to notify the hotel and you wont need to pay extra almost all rooms prices are based on double occupancy anyway, just ask when you check in for an extra key tho they will probably give you 2 keys per room anyway.

yeah I don't think the kilts will go over well. If you try it, try it at a club on property so if they don't let you in you can go up to your room and change quick.
Not so sure that us ladies consider kilts hot...etleast I don't. But I do embrace diversity.

i dig the kilts idea but i think that it's a good idea to have a "backup plan" to change into some pants in case the club does have a problem with it. if you guys are spending money on a table a lot of times the club will be a little more relaxed on the dress code.

also if you work directly with a host from the club instead of a vip/independent host you can let him know that you'll be the dudes in kilts that night--he'll either tell the doorman to let you through or let you know if you need to change before you head into the club.

nice work on the "groundkeeper willy" and "mcvegas" references too. some of us americans get a little confused on our european geography/history and forget exactly where/what scotland is. i watched an EXTREMELY drunk guy at a blackjack table make a complete ass of himself as he told the scottish couple next to him how much he loved jameson and guinness, never realizing that those things are in fact irish!
crap out, cash out, pass out

i still smell like smoke, strippers, and shame

last night i swallowed liquor and a lighter
and this morning i threw up fire

In Canada the Kilts are all good!!! However I have not seen any in Vegas but there is always a first for everything, and hey why not it is VEGAS after all!!! Actually i am going to be there from June 24-29th and I beleive we are staying at the Encore so we might have to meet up!!! Some cousins from England are coming out so it will be a real European invasion!!! If you have any questions about hooking up bottle service this is the place to ask. Forget the outside hosting companies you have all the info and experience here to help you through setting it all up yourself!!!

Kilts are often welcomed. Ladies love them (ask SoCal )

I would NOT use a VIP company. You'll end up spending the same amount of money (sometimes more depending) and they are in the end just a middle man. Unless he plans to give you a happy ending at the end of the night, I suggest booking direct. Use the contacts listed here: http://www.jackcolton.com/reservations.htm

Say you're from JC.com, they'll hook you up to their best ability (many of us forum members have had excellent service with the hosts affiliated with Colton) and have a great time. Ask for any specials, and make sure you contact them at least a week or so ahead of time. Build a good report, tip well and you'll be set up for a fantastic evening.

Have fun, be safe, tip well, watch your drink and always bring protection.

Not that I'm aware of, but it is mid summer so it'll be hot and it'll be filled with people. During holiday weekends you just get more people. It should be a great time.

Me and a few mates are going the week after... we're from Glasgow.

You been before? We were over in 2008 and didn't take Kilts, but saw a few boys wearing them while we were there, they seemed to go down well. A talking point, if nothing else.

Yeah mate I've been before, with the mrs. And while I was there i thought i defo need to go back with some mates.

                      We are from glasgow too.

Yeah they would be a talking point. I'd probably wear during the day, not at night. Or would it be too warm for them during the day? i suppose everywhere is air conditioned but outside would be too warm.

where you staying? how many of you are going?

We're staying at Caesars, where we stayed before. There's 9 of us going in total I think, so it should be good.

Wanna try and hit different clubs this time to the ones we went to the last time - but it's not like being stuck on Sauchiehall Street - if you don't get in somewhere, we can just walk to the next hotel!

                          Alrighty....

So we are about six weeks from vegas. Arrive on June 23rd.

This is our plan for our 4 nights.

                          Wed- LAX
                          Thurs- TAO
                          Fri- PURE
                          Sat- XS

Now the whole kilt thing keeps rearing its ugly head. My mate is dead keen on wearing kilts as he thinks it will be a talking point ice breaker with the ladies. Anyway I'm not so keen as I'm not really going to be chasing ass and I think we might just look stupid in a club.

We need ideas for a pool party and we are thinking friday. So we would be looking for the wildest one. i've heard TAO beach is more relaxed compared to Rehab. Is this true? Anyway the wilder the better.

Also would appreciate thoughts on the plan for the week's nighclubs.

I think the kilts are a great idea.

Just call a couple hosts and make sure its OK, but I'm sure they wont mind. You guys will definitely get some ladies attention...callin it right now.

For Friday as a pool party I would go to Ditch at the Palms Pool.
