I'll be in Vegas May 1st, night of the Mayweather vs. Mosley fight. I don't have tickets so I wont be attending the fight. However, I still would like to watch the fight somewhere. So I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of where a good place would be to watch the fight. Obvious a place that has lots of TVs, and couches/chairs would be a plus. Even if you know of a good place but aren't sure whether they'll have the fight or not let me know. I'll probably call a few places ahead of time to make sure they'll have the fight or not. Thanks.

the fight won't be shown for free in any of the bars but it will be shown on big screens in most MGM propertys. It's normally about $50. I would recomend the MGM grand itself as the atmosphere on fight night is electric I've still not got tickets and that's where I will be if I don't.Originally posted by empathy23 View PostI'll be in Vegas May 1st, night of the Mayweather vs. Mosley fight. Emper, did you considering trying to upgrade to a suite and having a fight party in room. Get some room service, maybe a giant quizno sub and some booze. Watch the fights with your buddies and then head out for the night after the fight. It will be over fairly early in the evening.
Me and some pals did it for the Super Bowl one weekend. It was a good way to watch it.

Thats actually a really good idea. You can save money on drinks and food this way. I remember I was in Vegas at places that were showing the fight were charging like $30 a person just to get in. It was pretty lame. It may be more or less for this fight, I don't know. But throwing something in your room might be an awesome way to do it.Originally posted by Skinny Larry View PostEmper, did you considering trying to upgrade to a suite and having a fight party in room. Just an fyi,
Unless things have changed, you cannot buy the fight in your room in Vegas if the fight is being held in Vegas. I know from experience b/c I was out in Vegas for DeLahoya vs. Mayweather. You are going to have to watch the fight on closed circuit TV, and it will cost you $50 a head. I would call the MGM properties asap and figure out which properties are having closed circuit viewing. When we out there for the Mayweather-DeLahoya, all of the close circuit venues were sold out as well. That is when I tried to get in the room, and that wasn't an option either. So my advice is call out now and purchase your closed viewing seats so you don't get shut out like I did.
