Yeah you can't be obvious. And you don't want to try it in the pool parties because they go through your stuff. Well I guess you could try... But you'd have to be stealtht

Vodka in a water bottle usually does the trick.

I didn't know you can't bring your own drinks to hotel pools?? I usually stop by the sundry shop and buy bottled drinks and snacks before I go to the pool. I've never been questioned on it and I don't hide it either. but then I probably look like a nerdy tourist that wouldn't dare to bring in alcohol.
As long as you don't bring it liquor containers, I think it's fine.

Yea, I can't imagine it being a problem at the hotel pool.

We got a little too aggressive once. It was an impromptu 24 hour trip (Drove from San Francisco at 2am got to Vegas around 11am) and we were strapped for cash.

We tried to fill one of those large water jugs (with the tap in front) with vodka and juice. Somehow we actually got it into the lazy river at MGM, but it lasted for about 5 minutes before the staff came up to us and asked "Are you guys actually serious?"

They were nice to enough to check it at the gate for us though, and we got it on our way out

I would recommend being much more discrete.

just asking cause a couple years ago at the venetian we brought a bunch of beers down in a soft cooler and no one questioned us. we actually felt a little bad because the pool attendant was cleaning up all the empty cans.

i also know at the wynn that they do not allow outside drinks into the pool area as tried walking in with a beer in hand that i had just gotten from the casino.

Anyone know about the Mirage pool and bringing in beer? Also we wil have 4 per room but only booking 3 per room. Will they check to see how many people are on the reservation when we go in the pool or just look to see a room key? We probably all won't be going down at the same time anyway.

When I stayed @ Mirage in 03' they did check room key to get into pool area and security was tight....if taking in booze you need to sneak it in. This was before they had the big pool parties all over town so now IDK if the pool is as busy or security as tight.
