just curious if anyone here has been. we are thinking about checking it out next month, and if it was worht the 35 bucks to get in.

There are some coupons floating around for this place. It all depends on what you are looking for. It is a ice bar which is kinda cool, it is pretty small and you can only stay for so long. They have these types of bars all over the world, the one i went to was in Auckland NZ. It's not a nightlife type of place at all, but you might have fun with a lady because you get to wear a funny hat and see something you might not see again depending on where you live. I will continue to search my memory for where I found a coupon for this place, it was a two for one deal. I just cant remember at the moment.

Those things are a novelty. I went to one in Amsterdam. You pay x amount of dollars for a set amount of time to drink vodka in a big freezer. it's cool at first then you are like, ok time to go. it may be fun if you go with alot of people. I went with my uncle and brother and was bored after 10 minutes.

Not worth it really, it is an interesting concept. But if you are at Mandalay and really bored you may want to consider it. When I was out there last time they seemed to have really cut down on the size of the "freezer" section compared to previous memories. They had a more traditional walk up bar which sold some of the big frozen drinks. But I would just go to the other end of Mandalay Place and get a frozen drink from Fat Tuesdays and walk the 10 minutes or so to the Welcome to Vegas Sign. Still Touristy and Fun and cheaper. Plus there is a liquor store across the strip from Mandalay to stop at on the way back to get your pregaming drinks.

They also have a regular bar in front you can go in and have drinks. Looks nice. Me.......I'll pass on wearing a hat somebody I don't know wore before me.
