First time in Vegas, Couple of questions

Sorry if these questions have been answered already. Have been looking around the forums for a week or so and decided to seek some help.

Going to stay at the Hard Rock with 4 friends at the end of June. None of us have been to Vegas before and my friends arent really the type to go to clubs, but I will drag them to one or two. My questions are:

Does anyone have suggestions for just regular bars to go to. Places without long lines and the dance club atmosphere? Do they exist in vegas?

I saw a post detailing the prices at Rehab. Since I am staying at the Hard Rock I was definitely going to hit up Rehab. Do hotel guests get in free? Are those prices for cabanas, daybeds, and lounge chairs the only options or are there other places to hang out at Rehab?

Theres a bunch of bars you would enjoy. Too many to list. I prefer Carnival Court in front Harrahs.

Theres a separate line for hotel guest and cover is waived.

almost any casino bar is gonna be fun with good crowds, other bars are the bar at times square in nyny, the island bar at palms, nine at palms and even the center bar at hard rock.

I hear this place is legit and I hella want to go...didn't make it last trip. Looks hella fun with all the beer pong and I hear the crowd is decent.
